Not sure what people are going on about, but this is a very, very good album. If you don't like neo-soul funk fusion, I get that this won't hit for you but....it's a pretty good work overall.
The critics are absolutely fried on this. It's such a good album front-to-back and I don't know what else to say.
Given how this was made during the pandemic, it's pretty great. One Thing, For the Record and The Truth are pretty addicting.
This album is basically the perfect prog-rock album. I've been obsessed with it since I was a kid and my dad first played it for me. Absolutely set the standard for prog rock of the 70s imo.
Quintessential folk pop album that defined a decade and inspires to this day. Joni deserves the notoriety off this alone.
