Alec Benjamin - (Un)Commentary

I really sad how much I enjoyed Narrated By You more than this. Since they are really similar to eachother. I don't hate any of them, but I doesn't really like any of them. They all are in between 50 to 40, so in the middle. It's sad to say, but I'm not really recommending this one, might listen to it again in the future :)

Daft Punk - Discovery
92

This was recommended by Helmeren some time ago, My fellow friend

I Actually liked this more than i thought I would. Really enjoyable for anyone, well not everyone but you know what I mean. The best in my opinion were Harder Better Faster Stronger, One More Time and Voayager. I knew Harder Better Faster Stronger and could recognize it based on the title, I usually have to listen to the song before recognizing it. Overall an amazing experience listening to it. I liked every song, but the song i ... read more

Gorillaz - Gorillaz
72

I personally think that Plastic Beach and Demon Days are better, this gives the same vibe as Demon Days, but Demon Days is just better in my opinion. It is great and it's listenable, but I'd rather listen to one of Gorillaz other albums than this. I didn't recognize any songs on the album, and the only one I recognized after listening to the album was 19-2000, which is also the best song on the album, the rest is good, with some better than others, This is worth a listen, Just high enough for ... read more

Tame Impala - Currents
93

I knew some of them without knowing it, I've heard them from social media, the only one I've listened to before that i knew were Let it Happen, which is a beautiful song. The rest is great, with some being better than others. Amazing album. I knew The Less I Know the Better and New Person, Same Old Mistakes before listening, I just didn't know the who made it or what it was called. I'd give it a second listen. Highly Recommend

MADILYN POVEY - around the globe: europe
90

This goes hard, I especially love how in the end of each song, they talk about going to another country, which is the next song in the album. Love the chill the songs have. I'd give it a second try. Highly recommend it.

Gorillaz - Demon Days
93

This was recommended by the same friend who recommended Plastic Beach, Thank You V :)

The album is almost as great as Plastic Beach, but I like Plastic Beach more, it's still really great. I know Feel Good Inc. so the rest of the album was a new experience. The instruments were great, I might just a big fan of Gorillaz. This is worth a second listen and would highly recommend. :)

Volbeat - Seal The Deal & Let's Boogie
86

I've known Volbeat for a long time since I'm danish, (and Volbeat is also danish). For Evigt is basicly a song all of the 5.8 million danes can the lyrics for. The rest of the album is also good, but I am going to just be listening to For Evigt. The rest is good but isn't my thing, but still a good album. Recommending this one.

Bastille - Doom Days
90

Liked every song, pretty much like all the other albums I've listened to so far, they kept the same type of music since Bad Blood. I'd recommend this easily. It deserves the 90 rating it gets :)

Little Simz - Drop 7
9

This is straight ass in my opinion, like Brad Taste when it comes to AJR. I'd rather rot in a room filled with mold, rats and cockroaches than giving this a second try, never trying this again.

d4vd - Petals to Thorns
52

I didn't really like the songs on the album, their just not my favorite, Here with me and Romantic Homicide are okay, but the rest are just not good, I might not ever listen to this album, maybe one of them but not all of it at the same time. I'd rather just find another album with the same vibe, if there are some. Not recommending it this time... sorry :/

Pink Floyd - Meddle
93

This is like all the other Pink Floyd albums, this is amazing, especially Echoes, even tho it makes up half of the albums total playtime, one of the 20+ minute songs i actually can listen to. Like any other Pink Floyd albums, it was introduced by my dad when he introduced me to Echoes. So i have alot of nostalgia and hope going into the rest of the album, and I loved it. Another amazing album from Pink Floyd and would recommend.

doefriends - I WANT TO LOVE AGAIN
88

I didn't expect this album to be so good as it actually is. I enjoyed everyone of them. This I definitely would give a second listen. I feel like I've listen to this type of music, but I don't remember listening to something like this, I am a picky person when it comes to music, but this is definitely one I'd add to my catalog. Highly recommend

Beach House - Depression Cherry
94

I only knew Beach Song going into this, so i didn't expect the mental roadtrip i was about to go through. Some of the songs i was about to just break down and let my tears i've been holding for a long time. This was truly amazing, I liked all of them, Space Song and PPP the most and 10:37 the least. This I would recommend to almost everyone. Just a masterpiece, I can clearly see the 82 rating. I decided to give Depression Cherry 94 because some of the songs are masterpieces and some are good, ... read more

Bastille - Wild World
85

I've known Bastille for a long time, since Pompeii was popular in 2021. But I have not listened to any of their other albums than bad blood. But this was almost as good as bad blood, maybe like a tier down than Bad Blood, but it's still good. I'd recommend it. This is a small review but i'm doing something right now so... :)

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Alpha
89

I feel the nostalgia fill my heart and brain as i'm listening to this, but i wouldn't listen to it as an album like other albums, but more like a roadtrip down my memories. I really like it but i wouldn't listen to it in my day to day life. I like all of them especially Mice on Venus, but Thirteen is my least favorite. This will remain something i only listen to when i'm playing Minecraft.

The Strumbellas - Part Time Believer
100

I absolutely love this album, I wrote all my reviews on the three other albums a few days before the release of this album, and i've enjoyed every singe of them, all of them scoring 90 or over. This might be one of my favorite albums of all time, as right now it's in third place after Hope and The Maybe Man. This deserves more love, The Strumbellas in general deserves more love. An instant recommend. The music follows the same type of melody like the three earlier albums, I was up at 12 am the ... read more

J Mascis - What Do We Do Now
79

I really enjoyed this, I decided to listen to the album when after i wrote my review for the last album i saw it was in the "Best Of 2024" category, so I decided to find another song which was released in 2024 where i found this. It was better than i thought it would be. Loved the melody and the singer has good voice. Recommending this :)

Bill Ryder-Jones - Iechyd Da
86

This is amazing, didn't expect the album to be what the album was. I love this album and would really recommend this to anybody, or atleast ask them to give this a try. This is a small review but the album says why this is so good. Highly recommend :)

Take Care - Agony
22

I don't like how one of the songs are like two minutes, than the other is five minutes, plus it's sad how the good ones are the two minute ones. I genuinely don't like the album as a whole, the only one i like is Think of me Once in a While, which is good, but it's like i wrote earlier that it's one of the only two minute songs. I also feel like some of the songs are unlistenable to my ears, especially I Feel Like I've Been Shot In The Stomach. I just don't like it

The Strumbellas - We Still Move on Dance Floors
90

This is as good as both Rattlesnake and Hope, I listened Hope and Rattlesnake before this and it's funny how i'm listening to the newer albums and loving the melodies and then going back to this which was released in 2013 and it being almost the same type of melody like all the other ones. I'd recommend this and listen to it again in the future. As i'm writing this there is about 8 to 7 hours until Part Time Believer comes out, and i'm excited to listen to it with first reactions, I chose not ... read more
