THIS ALBUM. My review will certainly not do the album justice. One of the most exciting and interesting concept albums in existence, starting with Ethel cain undergoing heartbreak and trauma with her father, to her falling in love and then becoming a prostitute and being murdered and cannibalised by her boyfriend. I will never not be intrigued when listening to this album. I also have to say that televangelism is a BEAUTIFUL song. I don't really listen to music without singers, but this piano ... read more
rating mostly based off the instrumentals. I will say, the album has some great instrumentals - the drums & guitars are incredible, and so I mostly sat enjoying these aspects of the album.
However, the lyrics firstly, I found them so dull, repetitive, meaningless, etc. E.G. I want you - when I realised the whole 7 minute song was literally just the same lyrics repeated over and over that weren't even good lyrics. I was waiting for it to end - while tbf its instrumentals and music carried. ... read more
My personal favourite Ariana album for sure. The sound is very cohesive despite what people think about the misleadingness of yes and?, and I just adore every song on the album. Her vocals are incredible throughout, and it is such a great mix of fun pop songs as well as slower ones. Her lyrics here are too the best they have been so far throughout her albums, and I love a concept album, and the way she navigates the story through the album. Overall such a great album I have had on repeat. ... read more
Folklore is beautifully written and produced. The album feels like wondering through a forest and getting lost in it. It is filled with beautiful sounds and imagery throughout. The only thing that could even be seen as a negative to the album is that it is slower, and so if not in the mood may not be the Taylor album to go to. But listening to this album front to back on a car journey through foresty area is the most spiritual experience I have ever felt.

I'm not even that much of a country fan. BUT. THIS ALBUM IS INSANE. Lately I've listened to the whole thing front to back at least one time each day since its release. It is incredible. I find it difficult to think of anything negative about this. Her vocals are the best I have heard in any of her albums. The production and instrumentals are incredible, and the track placings as well as the transitions give it such an incredible flow from start to end that keep you listening. Personally this ... read more
I LOVE - no criticism AT ALL. 2nd favourite chappell song (after causal off)
Love this album a lot. Olivia on this project definitely stepped up from Sour, and I personally have a greater appreciation for this album. I personally enjoy the ballads like the grudge and logical more than those from sour like favourite crime and traitor, with the grudge being like traitor on steroids. I also really enjoy her attitude on the pop-punk songs, and I just think this album is overall such a cohesive project. Love the direction she is going in.
Favourites = the grudge, logical, ... read more
This album is magical front to back. Noah has mastered his songwriting on this project, and the instrumentals and production are gorgeous throughout. I love this full version, even with all the collabs, as I find artists like Lizzy, Gracie, Brandie Carlisle, post Malone etc. elevate Noah's already perfect songs. This album is skipless and was definitely one of my favourites from 2022. So proud of Noah and how far he has come and the success he deserves from this album
Love this album soo much - honestly can't say a bad word about it - my fav Taylor album for sure - ratings on here for this album are insane - nothing better to listen to at the gym
Listened 1.5 times - THIS ALBUMM - it is firstly just SO beautiful - the instrumentals are incredible obviously done incredibly by the band she worked on the album with. The lyrics are the most vulnerable and beautiful Lizzy has shared yet across her 3 albums. 5 seconds flat has always been one of my favourite albums of all time - I can't comfortably say which one is my favourite from Lizzy - as they are so different - but this one for sure feels much more mature - much more beautiful, and much ... read more
Really just kept going downhill from the start. The first song was the best on the album? yet it was still honestly awful - Its not even the music, the lyrics themselves make this unlistenable and cringe sorry... I dont even mind mgk's punk style music and honestly thought tickets to my downfall was a decent album, but this it not it... hope they get happier xoxo
Initial listen - have been a big conan gray fan - love both superache & kid krow - however - I can appreciate this album and the big switch for him, but I just don't know how it sits with me personally and im not sure I love this sound from him. Having said that I also love how the music he is making now is obviously making him much happier and that he feels able to make the music he wants to make - I would have to say that this is definitely my least favourite conan album, but it does have ... read more
This album means more to me than anything. the production, vocals, and lyrics are honestly outstanding, and I will just play this album back to front constantly. I find from start to finish, it is just an urethral listen that I just want to continue over and over. Def one of my if not my favourite album ep in terms of a full listen. you just feel immersed in this world, and I find the cover art to feel very reminiscent of the feelings and emotions that are conveyed in this album as it almost ... read more
An interesting album. Love some of the songs individually, and the album as a whole is a vibe. Overall, I do really enjoy the album, but lots of songs could easily be skips depending on my mood. The lyrics as well are.. interesting to say the least. I do find the album to be very much focused on her love interest with limited variation. The vocals and production for sure carry the album.
Personal favs: obvious, safety net, positions, motive
least favs: six thirty, west side, love language
such an incredible album. honestly just so interesting from track 1 till the end, and not a dull moment throughout. This album is for sure one of her best. The vault tracks were also great additions, especially Is It Over Now? - honestly doesn't age (apart from maybe shake it off)
personal favourites: Style, Out of the Woods, Wildest Dreams, New Romantics, is it over now?
Lest favourites: how you get the girl, shake it off
