Almost perfect…
Has some of my favorite Radiohead songs and some of my favorite songs of all time. However, it does slightly drag at some points for me. Still one of the best albums of all time.
Oh boy…
I have already listened to this album four times today. I wouldn’t consider myself a Billie Eilish fan but this album is amazing. The only big criticism is that the back half of the album isn’t as interesting as the first half but it’s still great.
Overall, I am shocked. I was aware that she had an album dropping today and I wasn’t too excited for it to be honest. However, this is definitely one of the best albums I’ve heard this year. Would highly ... read more
Huh…
Not what I was expecting at all. Shit goes crazy. Don’t know what else to say.
Edit: 90 -> 86
Hasn’t quite hit the same since the first listen
Vibes…
I really like the unique sound of this album. However, after the first few songs, it gets quite predictable at times. Not bad by any stretch but it’s my same issue with something like “Hypochondriac” by brakence, where you can kind of have an idea of how the next song is going to sound and you’ll usually be right. Not to say it’s a bad sound, there just could be more variety. Would like to say, this is some of the best production on any album ... read more

I just want to make it clear that I have no strong good or bad opinions about Taylor Swift. However, this album is kind of boring. It wasn't as bad as expected but it just, for the most part, didn't hold my attention as much as some worse albums. I will say songs like "So Long, London" and "Guilty as Sin?" had me very engaged and are quite good. I just think this project lacks of consistency and anything too unique from her last LP, "Midnights".
I'm a little late to reviewing this due to taking a bit of a break from reviewing music but I have listened to this many times. If J. Cole isn't going to put any effort into his music, I'm not going to put any into this review. The production is lackluster and he just says the same shit he says on every album. It's crazy he keeps using "I'm the greatest ever" type lines when repeating the same shit over and over is my biggest issue with him and what further keeps him out of the debate ... read more
For this review I will only be referring to the new tracks and not anything on the original release.
I really enjoyed this album when it came out last year and these deluxe tracks are definitely worth your time. The first track, "Dang", is very well produced but the vocals don't entirely do it for me throughout. She still sounds good but the bar is pretty high. "Butterfly Net" is a big standout of the deluxe for me... I'm a sucker for some Weyes Blood. Also, some crazy ... read more
Shattering
I feel like there’s so much I didn’t notice with this album until listening to it now
Rest in peace Kai
My kind of chaos
This album is so odd for me. I wasn’t crazy about it the first time I listened to it but it’s grown on me so much. “Get Got” was the first one to really start hitting for me. Which caused me to go back to this album. Ever since it has constantly been in my rotation. “Lost Boys” is the only track that hasn’t really clicked for me yet. I just kind of get bored with it to an extent.
Overall, this album makes me want to punch a hole ... read more
Holy shit
The vocals and mixing are so beyond good. This album took me completely by surprise. I had never listened to any Julia Holter before this and I’m blown away. The only track here to really criticize is “Meyou”. I can’t tell what the end goal was here. Still interesting in a way but doesn’t stay engaging or enjoyable for long. The track that stood out the most to me was “These Morning” due to the way it was able to immerse me. The vocals are ... read more
Doesn't do much for me. It's not unlistenable but I wouldn't choose to listen to this again.
