I really enjoyed this, more than anything I've heard from black midi. Very very unique and foreword thinking sound which modern rock music needs more of. The Magician is incredible and is definitely the standout song of the album.

Some of the best songwriting of all time. Lines from this album get stuck in my head throughout the day and the sound is wonderful. Perfect autumn album. My favorite song from this album is probably The Stranger Song, but every song is great. Suzanne perfectly captures the feeling of love in a song, and I love the Jesus was a sailor portion of the song as well. All around great album with amazing lyricism. Keeps growing on me with every listen.

Immensely powerful album which is on par with or superior to many Swans albums. I grow to like and resonate with this album more and more over time. Every song is great, but I think it's a real shame Two Women isn't commonly recognized alongside many of the greatest Swan's songs like Helpless Child or The Glowing Man.

this one is insanely underrated. I was honestly more impressed by this than The Winter Ray, and that was with multiple interruptions during my listening experience. I feel that it's going to grow the more I listen to it. The first song is one of the most beautiful things I've heard. I need to move North to make my NSB listening experiences more immersive...

Very gothic, but in the traditional, vampires roaming the dark streets of London kind of way. Especially on The Dissociation of Sir William Gull, which was my favorite song on the album. this is crazy good. i love the concept and experimentation and about everything about how it sounds. i listened to it after a day with a migraine though so that made Aumgn and Peking O a little less enjoyable for me so im gonna give it a relisten in a better state soon. definitely going to check out more CAN and Krautrock in general

Jerusalem is one of the songs ever. really really good album, need more freak folk stuff because this and comus aren't enough. i feel like this is going to keep growing on me

incredibly unique album that evokes a great apocalyptic atmosphere. makeshift swahili is a 10/10 and i wish there was more out there that sounded like it. Very impressive to be able to make a 2 minute kazoo solo work

this is beautiful. the herald is breathtakingly pretty and drip drip is awesome (and certainly my favorite on the album). it sounds timeless and has a wonderfully unique sound. fantastic album.
