Well this one, is Kanye's weakest without any doubt
I ended up giving it a 50, but for Kanye (my fav of all time), this is a mediocre attempt of turning gospel music into a christian trap album with a typical Kanye production, the tracklist is confusing and there are unnecessary cuts.
I admit that i was actually into it when it came out, it was different and i was hyped to listen to this, but after a month i felt like this album was just wrong and filled with some of Kanye's most uninspired ... read more
Honestly, this is his best project since his debut, i was a bit hesitant cause this was his first studio album, but this is honestly lit as fuck, i get that his lyrics are dumb, but he isn't mumble, and i just really enjoy his vibe, i always did, and i dont find this rapper that generic, cause at the end i dont find many new wave rappers that are doing it like him, he has a style that is kinda unique, the production was overall enjoyable, this is just lit, and thats all i wanted from ... read more
Tame Impala is back after 5 years with another album, everytime they come back the music sounds more and more modern, this time we have a more 90's vibe techno psychedelic production, some people say this is the worst album by them and i kinda get why, it is not perfect and it doesnt sound like neither of their earlier projects, first impression i got was a change in Kevin's voice, it sounds more mature instead of sounding so light, at first it creeped me out but it's fine, this is not a ... read more
This is without any doubt the worst project ever released by PND
PARTYNEXTDOOR is a perfect downhill, getting worst in every album he releases, i was actually curious to hear this album, but this turned out being even worst htan PND3, i do find his singing very enjoyable but this album is all over the place, it's bloated and it doesn't have a meaning, it is just generic houseparty music to vibe to occasionally, thats how i always saw PND, it can be enjoyable as ambient music but technically is ... read more
Well idk any of this artists, but turns out they are rappers, very aggressive and fast ones, this is actually good, project of the day by far, it's maybe a bit longer than i wanted but its overall really enjoyable, the most disappointing thing here is the lack of cohesion, i dont think the mix is well done, rap fast flow bangers followed by autotuned rap songs....this is kinda messy at times, but i cant get over the talent of this rappers, after such a disappointing and terrible fast flow rap ... read more
New BOSCO EP
This is my first BOSCO experience, i was kinda excited for this but this is actually a bit average, maybe its just not for me and i dont plan on listening to it again, it wasnt necessarily bad, but this really slow dance R&B really lacks any kinds of lyrical or personal moments, it's really generic, i did think the EP didnt start well, Take Off was maybe the first enjoyable song, the singing sounds so much better overall, The Piano Song and the ending to this EP are the best ... read more
Another new band today
This sounds like a really old school lyrical album, this album lacks a bit of personality but it isnt necessarily bad at all, this sounds mostly very aggressive, but at the same time it is kinda corny at times, and i've heard stuff like this before so its mostly forgettable
Another new DJ
Hame DJ releases his first project and...this is a really dope trip, it only has 4 songs but its 26 minutes long, the transitions and the progressive techno house vibe here is pretty enjoyable, it only has a small problem, it sounds like it is 20 years old, which is ok cause i enjoyed the album but this artist won't grow making dated music.
New kpop masculine group!
Well kpop is a wide community nowadays, a lot of bands try to lift themselves to stardom, and today a new band is born, TOO
It has 10 members, which is unnecessarily large in my opinion, but imma still listen to this and find if this band as potential or not, this mini album has 5 songs, and it sounded pretty nice overall to be honest, i just had a little feeling that maybe this is stuck in the past, this sounds like BTS in 2013 or EXO on 2014, it's definitely more ... read more
8 minute long trap EP
The production is honestly way more catchy than i expected, the delivery is mid imo, idk much about this guys and i don't think its bad at all, it isnt smart or lyrical but it's enjoyable still.
The first 2 songs sound very alike, i do prefer the second one tho, it's more creative and the beat effect in the piano in the back it's pretty nice, the delivery in the 3rd song is really different, it sounds more soul and funk infused with a more calming and chill beat, this is ... read more
This is without amy doubt the best album by Mac Miller after his re-styling in GO:OD AM, it isn't perfect but it's close to that, the Jon Brion production here finally pushes Mac to more of a Neo Soul vibe with hip hop elements than hip hop with Neo Soul elements like on Divine Feminine and Swimming, this really got me by surprise, after all maybe posthumous releases aren't all bad, this funky melancholic diverse trip touches my soul and gets me inside Mac's mind on his final days of life ... read more
Everytime i listen to Jessie i remind myself of Camila Cabello, but this one is definitely more meaningful and conscious, this is a great album for my R&B standards, Jessie's previous projects were still underground, and she needed better production to boost her fame to another level, i don't think that there's nothing that stops her from possibly reaching R&B stardom, she's really entertaining and this LP was one of the best so far this year, the spacious R&B production is really ... read more
Well this is probably their best project since Ritual Union, i like this eletronic swedish pop vibe and i hope this album has the success it deserves, it is catchy and infecious, a really cute LP by this band, it has its ups and downs but i think they are on a good path, happy with this album
Best: Hold On, Are You Feeling Sad?, Where You Belong
Worst: Sadness, Another Lover, Every Rain
A lot of people seem to find this a bad project but i cant share the same opinion, this is definitely not their best but i think the elements necessary to make this album enjoyable are still there, the instrumentals aren't memorable but they are still nice, it's probably a little too long tho
This is painfully underwhelming, im happy for the way his life was going at the time, we can definitely see that this album is more motivational and he seems way more enthusiastic but this didnt turn out well, its one of the blandest albums of the year, its not cohesive and it barely has any good tracks, the beats are typically good but some beats were also really average or even bad, most of the features were better then him, and this is just a mixed bag where trippie just sounds so lazy and ... read more
This project is overall good, it is definitely very creative, and i do admire AGAINST ALL LOGIC for changing techno music so much in the last 3 years, Nicolas Jaar is such an amazing producer and i love how hes shifting the culture, but this album as a small issue attached to it, and it is the fact that Nicolas ended up releasing an album better than this less than a month later, which made my consideration for this album go down a lot, but it still is a nice techno house infusion, and it ... read more
It is a really intriguing and dark experience here, definitely something i was used to, i do find this alternative experience very creative and innovative, and that's something i value a lot in artists of this kind, im not sure if im supposed to give this this rate but im giving it anyway, what an experience right here, i loved most of it and it's replay value is massive, im thinking about getting this CD and i cant wait for other album by this guy

Worst: Sunder, ... read more
