Yeah he's a talented guy, bu all his projects been sounding not only the same every now and then, but he's also not on his peak of creativity or ability to make dope music anymore, the way this album turned out to go is expectable, not surprised on how this turened out to be.
This album is way too long, and probably on of his most boring albums overall
This is a pretty beautiful record by the pop singer Jeremy Zucker, i feel like i enjoyed this way more than his debut, this has more life and emotions attached to it, this is a nice emo-pop experience, my problem with this is that i feel like are artists like him that are doing better than he is, like blackbear, hes still a decent singer tho, i kinda wished this was better produced too, it was underwhelming how repetitive and bland the production here turned out to be
Forgettable EP, Lucci doesnt have a creative persona on his albums, this is not good at all, his voice is annoying, i dont really care for the name of the tape, but my quarentine would be terrible with this project playing at my home, this is really bad
Edit: This grew on me a little bit (Previous rate: 41)
Dababy's 3rd studio album
I always showed tons of interest about this rapper, i called him the freshman of 2019, i loved both of his porjects from last year, but this isnt it, Blame It On Baby is a really tiring and underwhelming project.
Johnathan is not a stranger to hate about being repetitive, and now im finally getting annoyed by it, this album does not have anything that can top his previous projects...i respect that he wanted to ... read more
SZA's debut studio album CTRL was one of the most remarkable R&B projects of this decade.
In my opinion SZA is a talented singer, and she also has decent lyrics and explores interesting themes on her music, she isnt that different from most R&B female artists, shes overall a very conventional artist in this genre, but this album was HUGE.
The many relatable and emotional themes around this albums tracklist make a very easy album to connect to, it is personal, sometimes explicit and ... read more
Oh god, here we go.
SB2H was Cudi's most hated album by far, and it is understandable, it isnt as appealing as all of his other records, it's more boring, it's masochist, it's a scary experience, there are tons of negative things about this project.
While i personally feel like this album keeps growing on me, i don't think it is a very unique piece of art, besides the insane and crazy lyrics that come from this man who seems lost on his own struggles and issues, leading to a very edgy album ... read more
Overall, this is probably one of the worst Bino attempts at being appealing and alternative at the same time, i didnt expect to be so disappointed over a Gambino project, some songs are ok but this project is mostly boring and bloated with corny forgettable lyrics
The 3 new extra songs here boost it a bit, Tia Tamera is a trap banger with Rico Nasty, Juicy is funny, and MOOOO! still didnt grow on me, its corny imo, but yeah this makes the album more enjoyable.
Seems like an unpopular opinion, but most of the songs here are missed attempts at making enjoyable R&B music, there are very enjoyable moments, but doja's personality still needs to be more crafted, it's repetitive and mostly bland, what boosts this album is how funny the lyrics and her voice ends up being.
House of Balloons was the first of 3 mixtapes on Abel Tesfaye's early debut compilation Trilogy, it has 10 songs and it is almost an hour long, here The Weeknd showcases for the 1st time what would become his signature dark eerie melodic style
In this Mixtape he mostly mentions the XO's nightlife, drugs, sex, kinks, etc. It is mostly edgy, sexy, dark, shady and hedonist, Even tho i dont find the tracks here a lot different from each other, makin this sound more like a single linear track or a ... read more
I was hyped for this mixtape by Bladee, and this is another cloudy autotuned and heavily autotuned project by him, a minimal and creative project from bladee, this is not as heavy as some of his latest projects.
If im gonna be fully honest, i know Bladee can do better than this, idk if i liked this change of pace by him, hes not sounding bad, i just don't think this experiment was interesting or successful, but Bladee puts out projects every year, sometimes more than 1, so prolly his next ... read more
New The Strokes LP
This band had 2 amazing projects to start their career, but after it, it felt like they just couldnt match the quality of the original ones, but this album is actually an exception. I really liked it, i found it really enjoyable, this is probably their most chill album on years, their approach surprised me, unlike the last album this sounds very cohesive, like it's a trip.
Lyrically i found this album pretty interesting, it was overall an album with a lot of variety ... read more
Well after all, this project is considered a mixtape, and as a mixtape i found it really cohesive, linear, and also pretty enjoyable, this project shows Tory approaching again his trapper side, instead of sticking to the R&B vibes he shown us on his last 2/3 projects.
I feel like Tory in booth genres is continuosly evoluting and gaining quality, hes becoming more and more entertaining with every album, and even tho id rather listen to Chixtape 5 than this, when it comes to Trap music this ... read more
Jadakiss is a very underrated artist, he deserves a lot of respect, he's one of the most underrated lyricists of NYC, but tbh, i think his career shoul've been done some years ago, he needs to retire, cause this album is the proof that even tho hes a nice rapper he cant keep up with albums that can be heard on 2020, this project is so trapped in the past, that this 00's R&B influences on the album make it mostly unlistenable, lets also mention how the first 2 songs are better than anyhting ... read more
This album was nice, but Polo G has nothing unique that makes him standout compared to other rappers in the game rn, he's dope emotionally but that's mainly it, a really generic artist imo.
The album was strong for a debut, and i feel like Polo came to stay, but he needs to improve on rapping for it to happen, the production was nice, but overall im kind of indifferent to this album
Lil Tjay shows in his first album he's a young talented kid, his flow and lyricism is better than average new wave rappers, the personal content he brings to this album turns out to make it really enjoyable, i hope that he doesnt end up being an one album wonder, cause the kid prolly has some more to show to the world after this. His voice is entertaining, the flows are his main ability, the lyrics are personal and emotional, there's really not much about this project that i dislike. The ... read more
This is one of my favorites 90's hip hop album
Dr. Dre, multi millionaire, producer, and rap artist released his 2nd album in 1999, and damn it was amazing, the overall mood of this album is unbreakable, there are it's highs and lows, but overall what makes this album a benchmark on hip hop history is the production, i was always attracted by the west coast traditional hip hop beats, Dr. Dre takes care of all of it, but as a rapper, he ends up lookin more like a passenger, most tracks are ... read more
New Empress Of LP
I first heard of this eletropop artist after i streamed Khalid's Suncity EP, i really have no big background about this artist and through this new LP i can definitely what's her vibe, it's hard for me to fall for a synthpop album since most of them end up sounding generic, and this doesn't escape from that, it sounds too generic and it isnt much different from what im used to in this industry, im not particularly attracted to her voice neither, her lyrics are ok, but there's ... read more
Eminem's latest surprise album Music To Be Murderd By, is not great, but a good move
Eminem has been no stranger to hate in the last decade, one of the world's best MC's came back after rehab to release Relapse and Recovery, 2 albums that didn't convince everyone, in 2013 he dropped MMLP2 which made it look like Eminem was reaching his peak again, this album was one of the best of that year, and a massive success. After a couple years gone, in late 2017 he released Revival, which gotta be one ... read more
