I glanced thru some of the tracks, and i quicly found out how this 101 songs mixtape, ends on track 19
Basically beggining on track 20 all u have is instrumentals from typical hip hop songs.
Wbk Lil B is an hip hop troll so are we even surprised at this point?
Hardcore Experimental Hip Hop is an hit or miss genre, and this is a miss because of mostly how wrong Stice's voice sounds here, it just makes this so fucking corny
This Synthpop/Alternative Pop album sounds nice and its fun to listen to, but i keep feeling like the vocals aren't the best, plus the creativity on this project didnt surpreend me or uplift me enough to think this album deserves that much recognition and respect, it is a good album, but thats mostly it
I'm not a huge Dream Pop fan and i don't have much background knowledge on this genre, but i really loved this project and the emotional connection that it brings, there's definitely a lot of different sounds which make this a really creative album with a lot of variety, its pretty enjoyable.
Well, to this point my highest rated album by Meghan Trainor was rated with a 11/100, so i had absolutely no interest at all when coming into this project, even tho this isnt as goofy and cringy as her other past projects, this is just as brutally bad as the others, i do think she became a more interesting person with this project, her feminist anthems sound more credible here, but overall this is still super bland and uninsteresting, basically unlistenable.
I was never a huge fan of Selena Gomez, and the 2 singles coming into this project just left me really worried about would could come, we all know that Selena has a nice voice, and somewhat catchy content, her debut project When The Sun Goes Down had fresh eletropop vibes mixed with teen bubblegum music, the Disney star would grow up into an adult to finally release her first totally independent album Stars Dance in 2013, which was actually more grown but still very similar to her roots, at ... read more
At the beggining this sounded like it could be a decent underground black metal LP, but as u get into it, u will eventually realizer that most songs sound the same, then lacking on creativity, its painfully boring aafter 2 or 3 songs
I had no idea what i was getting into when coming to this project, i found it very interesting because of how alternative and creative it ended up being, it has some rap elements and some nice bars at times
I like the variety on the production and i enjoyed most of the tracks, the problem ends up being his voice, i honestly found it to be really annoying, which was a huge disappointment, and thats the main reason why this project is less enjoyable than what it could've been.

I do enjoy Kali Uchis, but oh god this was awful
I appreciate how Kali ends up turning mainly poppy music to something more lyrical, but this EP sounds really unfinished, this is one of the weakest project i reviewed so far this year when it comes to production overall
I know it is just an EP, but i didnt expect to hear songs that sound like demos, hopefully Kali will have an interesting project this year, this EP could be worse, but the downgrade in quality and how this EP was unnecessary is ... read more
I was interested to check what this looked like, and turns out i didnt personally enjoy it
I do respect his work and his vocals, they are nice, but the mastering and the sound of this sounds a bit confusing, maybe too much to me, i also didnt enjoy how this album sounded like 1 big song, not having a lot of variety.
Hope Ryan comes with better records in the future
Lojii keeps his essence over minimalistic and chill beats, but this being his 3rd project, is probably his most poppy, with a lot of singing tracks, it is a really entertaining project but it's still weaker on bars and a meaning as a whole, but this lack of creativity and abstract appeal make this sound like a generic album under this vibe/genre, it's his worst project to date but its still really enjoyable overall.
It has some low and high points, but its overall consistent.

A very obscure and eerie experience in this abstract rap record, this is my first time hearing this artist, i heard he worked with Earl on producing his latest EP Feet Of Clay, so i expected this to sound dark and melancholic, i really end up getting Earl vibes on this project, but this sounding cleaner than Earl.
This has small and quick cuts that quickly transition between themselves, it's probably easier to get into this than Earl or RAP Ferreira, since this doesnt push the edge to much, ... read more
This is a very enjoyable and intriguing experience, the experimental appeal on this is top notch which makes this a very bizarre and unique album, it looks short at first for having 6 tracks, but it is actually a really long and entertaining alternative and experimental project with a couple hip hop verses here and there, the best album of the first day of the year by far, an impressive project really
Best tracks: Pink Stilettos, Blush, Apollo
Worst tracks: Heat Death 1991
Daribone's second project after their debut LP, is more compact but also really creative, using a lot of futuristic and spacial sounds, i enjoyed this EP quite a bit, i dont like to listen to this genre often but this is a decent project overall and it deserves to be recognized for that, but it's sometimes too repetitive and it has a huge suspense, which ends up making a lot of the moments here kind of boring.
New Thehxliday EP
5 Tracks where he seems to try it's hardest to become a Juice Wrld clone, but more generic than him
2 decent songs, and a catchy intro + 2 trash tracks.
Just seems like another underground trapper, that cant reach mainstream for being too similar to a lot of other artists, no creativity at all
I don't find underground experimental hip hop that much interesting tbh, the mixing sounds really underwhelming, but htis dude has nice bars, its basically like the early XXXTENTACION with poor mixing, its a really weird experience, and im still not sure what to say about this
I was curious to hear this album by Westside Gunn to see if it is better than LULU, the last EP by his brother Conway, that appears twice on this album.
This ended up way better but a similar vibe, it is a really decent hip hop album, the minimal and old school production here is really funny and entertaining, it has great features on it too
The whole production here gives it a very underground and vintage vibe to it, the beats are simple but it gives this a really enjoyable vibe, it has ... read more
One of the pop albums of the year
Ariana suceeded her really erotic, mature and R&B tuned Dangerous Woman album, by releasing Sweetener, which is not only a full on jump into the R&B genre, this is way less upbeat, this is not an exciting eletro pop/r&b album like DW, this one is way more soft soulful and personal.
For the first time, i feel like im hearing an Ariana album that totally feels like its 100% herself, its soft, sweet, calm, uplifting, a little melancholic at times, a ... read more
oh god, what just happened
I never heard this artist before coming to this, and...this is so far the most amazing and enjoyable album of the year, this dance pop and R&B fusion is magnific, it is really close to perfection, there is not a bad song in this project, the production is really dope to dance to and at the same time really soulful in some cuts of the album like the promotional single Chosen Family, this project showcases very personal and introspective lyricism, the vocals are ... read more
