Misfits - Walk Among Us

I'd kill to be martian, woo-ooh

Sade - Love Deluxe
100

I just happened to be on my free days, at 10 am in the morning looking to kickstart the day with some good music and Sade is the name that pops off in my head, not knowing or being familiar with the artist/band or music. I knew No Ordinary Love through a Deftones cover and that's about it. Just pressed play on the album and wow, this music blew me completely away.

This compilation of perfectly-crafted songs lives in a different atmosphere apart from everything I heard before. The level of ... read more

blink-182 - ONE MORE TIME...

Ugh. Overall, the production just bugs me, turns me off instantly and diminishes any replay value. There's a great amount of songs with potential to be even greater than they are but unfortunately they lacked in the creative department for lyricism. Too lazy, too comfortable.

For example, When We Were Young and You Don't Know What You've Got are these songs that the riffing and melody is palatable for my taste until the lyrics kick in. It disappoints me to an unthinkable level. It feels like ... read more

Green Day - Saviors

I reaaaally tried to like it. But only three songs woke me up before September after the nap I took listening to this better-than-Father of All album.

Favorites: 1981, Strange Days, Dilemma
The very worst on the album: Bobby Sox, One Eyed Bastard

Green Day - Warning:
73

I dig the vibe of this record. It gives you the idea they were packing their way into retirement, as they followed this with greatest hits and b-sides records.

Deftones - Ohms
91

Exhilarating as ever, still delivering at LEVELS ABOVE everybody. Upon my multiple plays, my ears could instantly discern how powerful the whole unit has transformed into post-Chi Cheng -RIP-.

Favorite tracks: Urantia, Spell, Pompeji, Headless, Ohms

Angels & Airwaves - Love: Part Two
53

More of the samey samey, big choruses Tom

Jawbreaker - 24 Hour Revenge Therapy
80

One of my favorite punk records.

The Rolling Stones - Hackney Diamonds

Does nothing for me. How can this be a must hear album?

Green Day - The American Dream Is Killing Me
67

They really can't let go of their American Idiot phase. I guess it's not a phase, mawm. Some parts are enjoyable, some are not. Their production always shines, and the fucking chorus is catchy as it gets. Let's see what else they have in store.

Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS
0

Corporate edgy product for people that grew up with parents adoring Simple Plan and Avril Lavigne.

Turnstile - Nonstop Feeling
70

It's starting to hit hard. Not bad, I'm having a good time.

Turnstile - Pressure To Succeed
69

They are barely walking by this point, but it shows it won't take long for them to pick it up.

Weezer - Pinkerton
20

Overrated AND glorified piece of crap. Fuck this album (the band is okay).

Saves The Day - Can't Slow Down
45

Lifetime called, said they want their sound back.

Fugazi - 13 Songs
90

No other band comes close.

Green Day - American Idiot
68

Filled with badass tracks and all-time pretentious and filler material, Bay Area punk giants hit it big one more time.

On a personal note, it shouldn't be overrated as it is, but it is.

Deftones - Deftones
85

I love it. God bless you all for the songs you saved us.

"Best emo album of all time? That's a reach, my friend. Influential during the 2010s, I can give you that, but that was just another album when it came out in 1999. The scene particularly cared more about Jimmy Eat World, The Get Up Kids and The Promise Ring. American Football was pretty much unknown until the internet knew this album existed."
