On first listen, I really appreciate what Vince brings in terms of content and themes. Creating opportunities for me to reflect has always been important, and having an album that discusses and questions the practices of the United States and its trends of entering wars, police brutality, and the consistent poor treatment of minority groups is something everyone should remain in touch with. Maybe I hate summer compilations and cliff diving, but this was not for me. Almost everything about this album is annoying to me, and the introspective core/content of this album is overshadowed by the screech-like vocals. I can acknowledge that you can hear the influence this album has had on our favorite artist, but while I get the appeal, I do not enjoy it at all.

It's high-energy and intended to be fun. It interpolates "Physical" by Olivia Newton-John and "The Macarena". There are catchy moments, and they can be very generic tracks. I also never want to hear BOOMPALA again LOL. It doesn't seem they're taking themselves too seriously, so I hope it's a fun era for the fans and them.

6LACK is a consistent artist, very consumable, soft, chill. I can understand the appeal, and none of the songs are terrible, but it's just a very stagnant and forgettable album for me. Some of the features have memorable harmonies, but some of the guest verses were very forgettable, yet stuck to the theme.

Personally, one of the most enjoyable but simultaneously unlistenable albums I've heard this year. Very harsh, but occasionally, some of the drops are very intense and enjoyable for me

It's K-pop; trends will be followed; English will be used (I don't mind it, but I've seen some pushback). There are some standout moments in the production, but it doesn't move me.

It has energy, fast-paced moments, and is definitely curated more for a club environment, but not for me at all. Not as bad as people are saying though LOLOL.

I'm impressed by the production and am genuinely surprised that I enjoyed this. The first three tracks terrified me. I thought her inflection and cadence were annoying, but as the album enters a pop-leaning style, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Still some unforgettable moments, but I will stay up to date on her music.

It's good, shows versatility in production selection and flows, but does it make a lot of impact on me? HELL NO

Really good. On first listen, I could point out themes of love, addiction, and family. In my opinion, this is his best-produced album. He stays true to that southern, gritty sound we've grown to love, but adds guitar and is just more dynamic and cinematic at times. Good verses, sometimes the effects on his voice were too much for me, and honestly, the features did not move me at all.

Really not for me. There's nothing necessarily wrong with the album's production or vocals in terms of quality, but it's repetitive and sonically difficult to get through.

Being realistic, this is an extremely bloated project. I enjoy Earl's half more. This could be due to my lack of experience listening to MIKE. I found myself not loving his cadence and flow over the minimal production, but I did find a couple of his tracks extremely enjoyable and will check out more.

Great album. Thundercat is a great example of an artist who does not overwhelm a listener but does enough musically, with harmonies and instrumentation, to keep someone engaged. Looking at this musically on first listen, this release has some of his best songs since Donda. The production can be aggressive and loud, but it also features soul flips, samples, and interpolations.
