What..? How was this rated so good before, how is it a 84 by the critics? It's genuinely bad, especially for a debut. I can see why other people like it but nevermind I don't, I genuinely thought I did at the first song but this is just bad, it's just horrible & edgy. I could maybe enjoy an edgy album but not when it's this bad. This is literally power gaming music. Dying Star is the only good / decent song on this.
It's pretty good with a few less good songs which make the rating a bit worse. Tbh I'm starting to get more and more into folk music, soon you'll prob catch me vibing out that stuff. This album's only real problem is how long it goes on for, a lot of albums suffer the symptoms of "Long As Fuck Disease", where the album is genuinely good but kinda ruined by how long it is, however, the last 3 songs are good, especially First Light, probably the best song on the album.
this is. good album. untitled 04. not good. untitled 08. is vibe. | 08.22.2023.
I mean it's alright, nothing too special, good for an album as it shows she's actually a good song writer. This album converted me from a pop hater to a semi-pop enjoyer. It's a teenage breakup album which actually kinda does a good job on the songs. 1 step forward, 3 steps back actually kinda underrated in my opinion, good 4 u is actually somehow good despite being the average pop song.
This is not good, literally all new reviews are bad and I'm happy cause it's actually that bad. Nicki Minaj > Cardi B easily and I usually don't listen to both of their music, yet I can see the difference between the 2. I Like It is the only song that is above a rating of 50 on this album for me. The 2nd part of the album somehow makes this rating even worse than it already was.
I wanted to rate this but after listening to only 4 songs on this I reconsidered my choice.
Starting of the album, I already knew it was gonna be emo af and it was, it was an alright album with a few good songs. Jocelyn Flores is one of my favorite songs by X and it deserves it's popularity, overall, this album is alright for a debut, despite there being some bad songs on this. The good songs on this album being short are good, I kinda like good songs more if they're a short listen, but sometimes it's also annoying.
It's raw, however, it's not good. Good idea, bad execution, his newer projects are better than his debut. Bitter Fuck fr sounds like something he would've made as Pink Guy in the more well-thought out parts of Pink Season bruh. This actually somehow manages to be worse than pink season.
Some good songs, some bad songs, this is basically like a shorter version of BALLADS 1 in my opinion. Joji's inconsistency continues to be a problem in his music career.
I mean ig it's fine, not too bad not too good, however SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK is goated fr fr, although I will probably listen to this more often cause the better tracks are pretty good. All in all this album is decent, with the better tracks being good and the worse tracks being alright.
Honestly, DeeJay's verse and Axel's singing saved this from an even worse rating.
I mean it's good, for a Reissue this is pretty good, a lot of Reissues are not that good.
Just like a lot of Tyler's newer albums, it's a masterpiece. I love a lot of the songs on this album. HOT WIND BLOWS is underrated, however there's definitely some songs I skip over. LEMONHEAD is an absolute banger and so is JUGGERNAUT, whenever I hear RUNITUP I never skip it, listening to SWEET / I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE for the first time was probably one of the best 9 minutes of a song I've heard. WILSHIRE is bad in my opinion, it just, I hate that effect that is in the song (forgot the ... read more
Blud went from making really good music to a christmas EP and then back to making probably the greatest album of 2019. Big Bag is the only song I enjoyed.
Nothing much to say about this album, it's really good.
Rest In Peace, 1992-2018.
The best way to explain this album is basically just calling it Logic's worst album. One of the worst albums of 2019, most of the songs are filled with pure cringe. This is just another example of a lot of rappers' worst problem : being inconsistent. Although on Homicide he does have some decent bars. I'm surprised that Mama / Show Love is on this album.
This is the most underrated album I know, in fact it's so underrated I had to add the track list to this. Anyways yeah, if you follow me and see this review, I beg of you, listen to this album, it's on spotify and it's actually really good.
I didn't really enjoy it, sounds like something straight out of a 2000s teen movie. The prechorus and verses are pretty good but the chorus ruins it.
