Feldup - Stared At from a Distance

the vocals can have some dissonance and weird mixing with the rest of the songs at some point but if you can look past it please do. my god this album is so unbelievably emotional and packed full of soul, and some absolutely stellar instrumental work. beautiful shoegaze album.

groovy baselines galore! very synthy almost 80s inspired instrumentals with some very modern mixing and vocals. this is one of those albums that you really cant explain why but you just vibe with it. so personal and close with the vocals its very nice very cool dope album with great prog.

feeble little horse - Girl with Fish

wow. this album just envelopes you in the beauty of this noisy pop while throwing in some insanely impressive vocal work and emotions, this album has so much soul in it. safe to say this is up there as one of my favorite pop albums I've ever heard.

Spiritbox - Tsunami Sea

such a weird jarring blend of POP and METAL??? but it somehow works really fucking well????? and i love this????????? this is also some of the most insane vocal work I've ever seen. the melodies and extreme drum and bass work just surround you in sound of intense metal. it's beautiful and heavy as fuck at the same time. love this

I can really see why this is one of, if not THE most beloved shoegaze album ever. everything from the progression to the sound to the production, I could go on about everything I love about this album. if I wanna listen to some damn good shoegaze, this is it. if I want a banger fucking time, this is it. this deserves every bit of love it gets and more. please listen to this if you haven't. an album like this is a once in a lifetime experience.

Have a Nice Life - The Unnatural World

feels kinda like half of what deathconsciousness was able to do. obviously this isn't as strong as deathconsciousness considering that's one of the most beloved shoegaze albums ever released, but this album gets up there in terms of quality, creativity and craftsmanship. if you love deathconsciousness you'll 100% like this. while it's not as strong it's still an extremely good album, I'll definitely be revisiting this. both albums perform the style excellently and ... read more

definitely see a LOT of creativity on this album with the way these genres have been blended it's something I've never seen before. there's a couple songs on this that drag it down for me since I'm not the biggest EDM listener but if you like shoegaze, EDM or both you'll like at least one song off this LP. id recommend this.

The Halo Effect - March Of The Unheard

one of my new favorite metal records, absolutely insane riffs this guitarist fucking shreds. it's so beautiful and progressive it feels like a full classical performance from one of the fathers of classical if they made the heaviest shit you could ever find. this just feels like if dethklok, gojira and opeth had a baby and its absolutely amazing. would recommend to anyone into death metal

my bloody valentine - loveless

great album with some awesome noisy melodies and expert writing

Lil Darkie - yang

darkie put his heart and soul into this lp and you can tell, hes fleshing out his true style and I fucking love it i love the experimentation and sound of this album. g fucking g. would recommend to anyone into this kinda stuff. only issue is even though the good songs are absolutely astonishing theres a lot of filler and bloat.

Keep it Together - Signals

beautiful album of nothing but nonstop ear pleasure, love the progression and emotions

a couple songs in particular kinda weigh this down imo but as an experience this has everything you'd want and more. amazing job on this hope to see more from this band

Black Country, New Road - Forever Howlong

amazing album throughout, nothing extremely special and the electronics can get jarring at some points but it's overall very solid throughout and shows the expert craftsmanship of the band. would recommend

my favorite album ever and maybe even my favorite piece of media ever. hits hard everywhere for me. it feels so personal and like their soul was put in every note. not afraid to admit I've cried to this album multiple times. this album is just non stop ear pleasure and raw unfiltered emotions thrown into a pile of beautiful sounds. throughout the listen you're constantly engulfed in this almost orchestral intense noise that fills your ears with pure passion and energy. the progression ... read more
