Voyager serves as a logical entry point for the uninitiated with its refreshed sound, and, although some longtime fans may miss the raw, immediate quality of his homemade releases, the arrangements here only intensify Rattigan's emotive writing and performances.
The album may have been better served if it was trimmed down by a few tracks, but overall Current Joys are definitely worthy of being added to your go-to rotation.

This was my most anticipated album of 2021. The singles were great, and I love all of Nick Rattigans work. And my god, I couldn't be more happy to say that I love this album. Yeah man this is awesome. Maybe because I'm such a Current Joys fan but this is a lovely album.
