I guess I never got around to rating this album.
But, here I am on its 1 year anniversary.
Unfortunately, this album is VERY overhated but I can definitely ssee why it gets the hate.
Genuinely Thugger doesn't miss. 4th album and I've enjoyed all of them.
What's crazy to me is his ability to make this album not boring, despite it being 83 minutes long.
At 22 tracks, Young Thug has achieved the score of 21/22. (Beast the only miss)
Yeah, Thugger doesn't miss.
The 3rd album from him that I've listened to so far, and they've all been over an 80.
To be honest, this album does have the first Thugger miss, "On Fire", can't stand that song.
But everything else is amazing, he went 13/14!!
"Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial" shows how much potential Roddy Rich has.
Rushed.
There's no greatness here, the flows and beats get incredibly repetitive BUT there are some saving graces here and there...
Ghais Guevara - Goyard Ibn Said
Honestly, its whatever.
I came in this with pretty high expectations after listening to BlackBolshevik, but definitely they werent accomplished.
Buttttt its not that bad. Ofcourse it has all the low-lows that I will never listen to again but it also has some pretty decent tracks that I will probably revisit.
Manger on McNichols.
Honestly, I can not put into words just how much I love this album.
It's not even crazy to say this is my favorite album ever created.
It's so personal at some point you feel like you're in a room with James talking to him.
The fact that this album took over a decade to be made just shows how incredible and perfect this album is.
"Mommy's Dearest" instantly became one of the most emotional songs I've ever listened to.
