Why am I listening to Smiths B-sides with Bjork and what sounds like a spoken word Eurovision act

Came to this for Electric Counterpoint. That's the star of the show here. It's insanely ahead of its time. I was curious about the first half of this LP, and it was def a lot weaker. The voice samples are a bit corny, and I can't get over the Choo Choo train noises. Still, kudos for trying something different. EC absolutely carries.
FAVS: ELECTRIC COUNTERPOINT (ALL PARTS)
LEAST FAV: AMERICA - BEFORE THE WAR
Years and years of listening to blues-rock when I was growing up has sanded down my brain to the point where the genre just doesn't register with me anymore. This is perfectly inoffensive; It's produced tastefully and you know all the tracks are played very earnestly and with a big love for the genre. I just cannot tell you anything specific about any track. Everything blends together into blues-paste.

Listened to this right after his debut and my God, this is fantastic. Feels like the perfect distillation and development of his minimalist style. Joji wishes he had this much aura.
