FORMING MY OWN OPINION ON EMINEM (part 3)

Wow! This was really great… besides drips that song lowers this album a lot imo but still I think this has been the best Eminem project out of his first 3… honestly if drips wasn’t on here I could see this as one of the best rap albums ever imo

FORMING MY OWN OPINION ON EMINEM (part 2)

Alrighty so… the Marshall mathers lp is a really amazing album with some stellar hard hitting tracks great flows great delivery interesting song concepts like Kim for example… yeah I’m never listening to that again tho… but I feel like this album is too long and it kinda bloats itself up which looks like it may be a problem with the rest of Eminem’s discography… but apparently the songs aren’t as good?! ... read more

FORMING MY OWN OPINION ON EMINEM (part 1)

Eminem has always been one of the more polarizing and controversial names in not just hip hop but music in general. It seems like it’s either you love him or you hate him… I’ve always loved most of the Eminem songs I’ve heard and I’ve always considered him one of my favorites so I’m going to try to dive more into his discography to see how great… or cringe he truly is.

So the slim shady lp is the first album ... read more

Wyatt James - Fuck Eating On The Weekend
11

I feel bad rating this this low cause I don’t necessarily hate this cause I feel like there’s some genuinely good ideas behind a lot of the bars and the production but I feel like it just falls flat because of delivery…
Wyatt seems like a pretty nice guy and I feel like he has potential to make some pretty decent music he just needs to work on flow and delivery

Denzel Curry - HOT ONE
NR

Oh boy I love me some Denzel Curry

My Chemical Romance - Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys

Allow me to set the mood… the year is 2010 and your favorite band my chemical romance just released a new album… just 4 years ago they made one of the best rock albums of the 2000s and considering they’ve topped themselves with every album they’ve put out you go in to this with high expectations! You give it a spin and this is what you hear… what are you doing in that situation?

Daughters - You Won't Get What You Want

This will be playing over my wedding video fs

Car Seat Headrest - Twin Fantasy (Face to Face)

Oh man… how was 2018 such a great year for music?

OutKast - Stankonia
92

This album makes me feel good 😌
There’s some less interesting tracks on the last leg of this album but nothing bad or even ok it’s all great

Muse - Absolution

It’s almost like happy Radiohead

Melanie Martinez - PORTALS
14

Good lord at least crybaby and k12 were entertainingly bad this was just awful boring and gross

Also I just listened to her for two and a half hours straight because I listened to all 3 of her albums in a row… taking out that airpod felt like I just ended world war 3!

Melanie Martinez - K-12

This is Melanie Martinez in top form 🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Melanie Martinez - Cry Baby

The one positive I have with this project is she really branches out in terms of subject matter from song to song… that being said it’s often delivered in the most cringeworthy and horrible way… but I didn’t ever lose interest in this project cause I was genuinely excited to see what monstrosities the next song had to offer always

Green Day - American Idiot
46

A bunch of failed anthems that bore the crap out of me

21 Savage - american dream
74

I thought this was a great listen this thing is full of bangers but what really makes this album great is the more personal cuts we get from 21

Yeat - 2093
67

Pretty good industrial hip hop just not a lot of tracks stand out except maybe like 2 or 3 but I feel like this is a bit too bloated and the sound becomes a bit mundane eventually but pretty solid other than that

Radiohead - Kid A
98

This was a magical listening experience the sound palate is just sooooo nice

Radiohead - OK Computer
100

I went into this with HUGE expectations and this album definitely delivered… this was the most surreal listening experience I’ve probably ever had with an album. I dont usually talk about interludes or include them in my rating of an album but omg listening to fitter happier felt like I left the earth for about 2 minutes and was just wandering the remains of the apocalypse… this album was a musical rollercoaster!
