Descendents - Milo Goes to College
87

Dorky losers make some banging ass punk. This album is a classic to me. One of the premier bands of their scene and they started their releases immaculately.

ian - Valedictorian (Deluxe)

Aggressively bad

Lemon Jelly - Lost Horizons
80

Very pretty and vibrant. If the horizons sounded like this, id be lost too.

The 1975 - The 1975
42

A very very bad relationship ruined this album for me.

Edit: 55 -> 42

AJJ - People Who Can Eat People Are the Luckiest People in the World
92

This only improves as it ages. I could write an essay on this album but music reviews is unfortunately not my job so I wont do that. Rejoice is spectacular. Survival Song is horrific its the aspects of it that I relate to. People II... just...

Edit 84 -> 92

AJJ - Good Luck Everybody
65

I can confidently say this is my least favorite of their records but it has grown on me a lot. At the time, I was so burnt out on the topics covered here but currently, I can't avoid it anymore. You can say "ah old man hates Trump!!!!!!" but I am young dude who also hates Trump so there is a commonality there. I do struggle a bit with some of the neo-liberal takes/mentalities but I would rather listen to that than some pro-right bullshit.

Edit: 50 -> 65

Adele - 19
50

Its okay, you can hear flashes of what will eventually make her great but those flashes are often blotted out by muddy mixing and subpar writing which might be unfair as this is in retrospect of hearing and growing up with her more well known material.

A Day To Remember - Bad Vibrations
59

Back to boredom, the run was fun while it lasted.

A Day To Remember - Common Courtesy
74

Nostalgia trip easycore album should be a layup... and it is. There isn't really a standout here for me but its a song record all the way through.

Edit: 74 -> 78

A Day To Remember - What Separates Me from You
74

I quite like 2nd Sucks and All Signs Point To Lauderdale a lot.

A Day To Remember - Homesick
80

This is peak ADTR. There are some of the most iconic easycore and metalcore songs in general on this album (The Downfall of Us All, Have Faith In Me, and I'm Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?) Have Faith in Me in particular being still popular on OSU (which, I no longer play (((Thank GOD)))).

Songs are very good live as well which is a bonus for me when it comes to songs I have actually heard at a show.

A Day To Remember - Old Record
45

Dunno, the mix is a bit better but its still the same boring songs that mixing isn't gonna fix.

A Day To Remember - For Those Who Have Heart
75

It is incredibly impressive to me that they went from their first album to this. This album is, as far as I am concerned, the start of their career. They are able to achieve the perfect blend of metalcore, pop-punk, and easycore (Yes I believe this is a thing, shut up).

I think this still holds up somewhat, even though not as much as Homesick.

Edit: 77 -> 75

A Day To Remember - And Their Name Was Treason
42

Upon revising this, I could not remember a single part of this. After relistening, I had to go do some stuff and coming back to write this I have nothing to talk about. Not even a joke like I normally do. Simply boring and a nothing album.

Edit: 50 -> 42

Of Mice & Men - The Flood
70

This is their best work. They put together a decent sound and although its not unique, its a solid outing.

BABYMETAL - BABYMETAL
63

Fun niche album. Their live performances look fun as fuck ngl
