Wage War is a band that starts with their best work. They progressively get worse as the years go. Very run of the mill metalcore of the time but I enjoyed it a lot in middle school.
AA does a lot decently. This is their tag imo. They are THE mid metalcore band that stay in their lane in a very inoffensive way.
Weak voice which is funny considering bro was on The Voice. I Don't Want This Night To End is kinda catchy and it makes me mad. The rest of this album is dogshit lmfao. IDK WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, WHY DID I LISTEN TO THIS.
I regret to admit I was wrong. In its lane, it is good and trying to sing the lyrics is fun.
Edit: 40 -> 64
Same issue with this as with everything they have done since their debut. What made them good was their edge... losing that lost them their image in my mind.
Edit: 70 -> 66
I honestly didn't mind their first (Da radioactive one) but this is when they start to be irredeemably insufferable.
Okay okay but its honestly fun. Imo second best myspace era deathcore album.
Edit: 45 -> 56
I knew a dude that had Mockingbird as his ringtone and he had a massive alt-right tattoo on his bald head. This has nothing to do with this record but I wanted to write that. Music wise, not good. 3 listenable (though very poorly aged) songs but the rest are awful.
Fuck that dude btw hope he dead.
Subpar grindcore. It is a very fine line for me with this genre and this is just a headache.
An hour for nothing but to soundtrack the car of a top 5 most annoying person I have ever met. Is it fair to use an experience like that to write off an entire record? Yes, cry about it if you wish :)
