I know it's literally called Alfredo 2 but it's amazing how this literally just sounds like a continuation of Alfredo 1, they didn't lose the style of the original one bit within the 5 year gap
it sucks that the score on this will probably be deflated a bit bc of how high ppl's expectations are after TFS, but JID is just really good at his job and I feel like no matter what he puts out from now on, it's always going to be very solid at the least. Just enjoy this for what it is
Simplistic, yet very unique and catchy. Amazing vibes. Also... some really sad songs, too
Not really impressed or disappointed. Just feels like more Carti music. Kinda just a case of if you liked the artist before, you'll have a good time with it, but if you didn't, then yeah. For what its worth, I felt like this was way more consistent than WLR was
Some of the goofiest choruses I've heard. LVL and 1Train are still sick. Phoenix and Suddenly surprised me in a good way at the end, too
you have to be drunk or just not listening to any words to enjoy half of this
Honestly my main issue with this tape is the beat selection. The bars are incredible throughout, especially for Joey's age at this time, but imo the production didn't match it most of the time.
Justice for Don't Front btw, get it back on streaming PLEASE
