After many relistens, this albums joins my elusive list of 100s. I struggle to find a complaint with anything in this project. Absolutely a masterpiece. Standout tracks are Agnus Dei, Rifle, and I Hold Your Anger.
Production is incredible which really makes this album better than it should be. There are a handful of really good bangers, but most of this project feels very uninspired, contrary to their earlier work.
Incredibly underrated project, although the CD and subsequent digital release are a little subpar compared to the initial 1979 release on LP. Absolutely worth finding the full vinyl rip of this project on YouTube or elsewhere, imo it is the definitive version. It has side 1 of the record and a better mix, plus a far better album cover.

Changed from a 96 to a 100, because through many relistens, this project grows on me more and more. I'm not really sure how I would possibly describe this album to someone, let alone what the lyrics mean. But that's what makes this album great.
So insanely good, so busy yet so clean, so detailed yet so sleek. Really good lyricism, and tracks like "Bow Down" have some really cool lines.
Fantastic and smooth album with some really cool darker pockets of experimentation. First Geese album I heard and I was hooked.
