Jane's ability to mesh together 3000 sounds from every corner of the universe at once, and somehow make it cohesive is unmatched. However, this isn't my favourite project of hers. Although I think this project is in many ways better than graverobbing, I think the samples on graverobbing tickled my brain more. I also think Jane is a crazy underrated lyricist, and that skill doesn't get flaunted on leroy projects, so I tend to struggle to rate them as high as jane remover/ ... read more
Absolutely gorgeous.
Favs: ingydar, come, zombie girl (every song was good tbh)
This album was THE shit back in 2021, have to give it a good rating out of respect <3
It's fun & the production is good, but honestly, it just didn't feel as unique to me as Wishlanes previous work. I am hopeful it'll grow on me with a few more listens.
Favs: Rainmaker, Volunteer.
It might not be the magnum opus that 'Y'all' was, but oh my god it's so nice to hear both Glaive & Kurtains have fun on this album. The range of different sounds and aesthetics on this album is so cool. From bangers like the troubles, to the more rnb inspired UNCA/Composure, to the wild west aesthetic on Old Freight Train Interlude LMAO. They never miss!!!
It's cunty, and the first half of the album is incredible. However, I felt the second half didn't really progress much from the first half.. Luckily, the sound on this album is amazing.
I listened to the album on a bus through some dimly lit party areas of my city, 10/10 recommend for first listening experience
favs: dance, beat up chanel$, yes goddd, crank, unknown loverz
This album feels like a creature from outer space crashed onto earth and had to discover what it means to be human. It feels so ethereal yet grounded in human emotion. Incredible production and gorgeous stylistic choices with Auroras vocals too!
Favs: Have you seen me dance alone?, somewhere else, wavelengths
I can't tell if I want to rate this a 90 or a 60. I absolutely adored the opening track though :)
This feels like a theatrical musical soundtrack, and I don't think there are many other albums quite like it.
The production was incredible, and the vocals were breathtaking. I also respect the bold stylistic choice to break the fourth wall constantly throughout the album. It adds a grounded and relatable tone to such a grandiose album, and stops it from coming across as pompous or pretentious. That being said, It does take away from the 'polish' of the album a touch to me. ... read more
Wow, this really surprised me honestly.
Anything with a bit of a horror/gothic sound to it tickles my brain, and this definitely has a bit of that (I'd never heard of 'witch house' until I stumbled across this album.) And the way this album blends the elements of witch house with hyperpop and edm is so enthralling
I do think the album suffers a touch from the tracklist sadly, the album is a touch bloated. There's around 5-6 tracks which I reckon could be cut without it ... read more
Ts is fire
It's bubbly, makes me want to bop my head, crazy good production. The start of the album was absolutely nuts too, my only minor critique is the mid-end point of the album did blend together a BIT on first listen. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be bumping this rating up higher in the near future after more listens
Favs: holding, love blur, demigod, sloppy Joe, the sky

For someone who's released album after album with hit after hit, this was disappointing. It just felt like a timid attempt at reproducing the same formulaic pop songs that used to work for him, with some mild genre changes. Just this time it didn't have the same pizzazz (except for 'I just might' which is fire)
Really really solid dreamy synth pop, fantastic follow up from time is a flower.
Favs: In the name of your love, The deep, Heartbeats, Vapor//slow dance, Paralysis ghosts.
never felt more relaxed. Reminds me of 'It'll end in tears' by This Mortal Coil a fair bit :)
favs: The world spins, the nightingale, into the night, falling
I feel like this album would go absolutely crazy in concert on some commercial grade speakers. However, on streaming, the album seems to lack a bit of versatility and I feel it all blends together just a little too much for me. However, 32 minutes of pure energetic chaos chucked into an album does still make for a fun listening experience, I did enjoy this aspect of the album, I'm just not sure how much I would come back to it.
favs: city, head up, shows you the way to the hiway, is this it
considering the limitations of mashup music, this was absolutely incredible. The production was top tier! Plus the way each sample blended together within tracks was absolutely seamless. I love the sample choices too lol, from kpop to kendrick lamar to anthony fantano hahah
Personally, I think Jane is a crazy good lyricist, and I am quite big on lyrics, so this genre simply isn't for me in many ways, but this is about as peak as it can get, Jane cooked fr
