Another amazing soundtrack project that perfectly encapsulates its material. I'm not going to bring any childhood nostalgia into this, terraria can only be described as a modern retro game, almost feeling like a massive modern overhaul of a game you would play for 5 minutes at an arcade, feeling "vintage" but not dated. The soundtrack fits this perfectly, sounding like a modern soundtrack composed of once again, vintage but not dated samples and instruments.

As a 55 year old white guy from idaho, i was never that big into this hip hop mumbo jumbo. But this travis scotch guy really hits different! He's speaking the truth and standing up to all this mumble (c)rap liberal nonsence! He reminds me of other real rappers such as tom macdonald, ronnie radke, and 50 percent of logic

Definitely Tyler's most consistent release with amazing sampling, production, and features. The songs amazingly both as a full project and as single listens. It does feel truly heartfelt, and clearly pulls influences from many genres, from funk to hardcore, but is executed so cleanly resulting in an album with no weak points in its theme and message, as well as not lacking in any way sonically with no parts of the instrumentals feeling off. This album is important in every way, from sonically to historically. The album doesn't have to 'click' with you, like how you wouldn't call a documentary or biography unimportant because it didn't 'click' with you.

Im speechless, this is the most emotional record I have ever listened to, and possibly the most depressing and passionate music I will ever listen too. Not with it being not dark, disturbing, angry or hateful, its depressing and passionate in the way that shows humanity and vulnerability. Deep, dreamy and atmospheric, Saturday Night Wrist has a reputation for being unpredictable and inconsistent, but still houses some of the bands best tracks. Apart from the very weak Pink Cellphone, each track on this album defies expectations. Its as emotional, powerful, and heavy as any other Deftones album. One of the most sonically challenging albums of its time, and ever, White Pony is undebatably Deftones best project. It has some of alternative metals most soothing tracks, yet some of the tracks on this album have such ear-piercingly sharp moments which makes the album so divided, not in a lackluster way, but in a way that reassures this albums entire point, its angst.
