this is like masterclass rap, probably the closest effort that were put into a hip hop album since LGSEO.

damn we need more shoegaze albums
they don't miss at all on the album, it sounds clear, another thing I noticed that they really sound like MBV, like the japanese version of them, and I'm just shocked of how good they can balance the dreamy vibe with the loud drums in the back, which makes the album weirdly different, and unique.

the first album I listen to from Conan Gray, the production is solid and the songwriting is fabulous too, decent project.

their recent album is indeed a fluke, I just can't with Spit Shine it's just bad, the hooks on this shit are off, no energetic TCATS vibe, bad instrumentals, and the whole album is just forgettable, maybe Caught In The Echo is an actual good song, that I might be revisiting in the future, everything else on the other side is just sadly disappointing.
okay this is actually where they become a real band, not only Dave, so after the success of the debut self-titled album, Dave realized that he couldn't play every single instrument on tours, so he got Pat Smear playing guitars, and Nate Mendel (bass), after that for the first time Foo Fighters started to feel like a collective unit and a true band.
what's really impressive on this is the massive production, it now feels louder, melodic, more energetic, and passionate, and it's ... read more
so since Foo Fighters dropped, I'll express how much I used to listen to the band in the past, and that I just love them and of course there will be glazing in the review, but honestly? it deserves it
the self-titled debut album for Dave Grohl's new band (it was only him at the time) Foo Fighters, after the tragic end of Nirvana with their lead singer Kurt Cobain just committing suicide for some reason, Dave Grohl wanted to do something about it, so he just went to the studio and ... read more
the deluxe tracks might be better than the original, I really loved them.
Fantano deserves to be praised for giving this a 10, this is really one of the most impressive punk records to ever exist.
Ultraviolence is a big step away from her first studio albums, in genre, production, and songwriting, Born to Die was lush and an easy sound, unlike Ultraviolence, heavy guitars, very melancholic and emotional, the album itself was a turning point, from her previous records, with Ultraviolence Lana finally turned to find her sound and I just find myself understanding her work more and more, now, it doesn't feel like some separate singles that were put into one album, Ultraviolence is more ... read more
Songs From the Big Chair is the second studio album from the duo band, Tears for Fears. The album transitioned the band from "bedroom" synth-pop to "stadium" synth-rock. their debut, The Hurting, was a claustrophobic, synth-heavy concept album about childhood trauma, but Songs From the Big Chair was a huge leap forward in both of ambition and sound.
The album is undeniably a production masterclass that became a classic in the pop industry. The philosophy of the album refers ... read more
Slowdive - Souvlaki was one of my favorite projects to replay for a while, Slowdive went different on this unlike MBV's style, (which were the most discussed band in the genre at that moment) that gave an aggressive, distortion-heavy sound, overwhelming the listener with walls of noise, but Souvlaki leaned more into texture, and atmosphere, letting sound breathe and linger, rather than assault, with the ethereal mellow vocals that shaped the unique sound of the album, Much of the vocals ... read more

I was never a fan of The Marías, I wasn't really tapped in their work, you know just few singles I'd add to my playlist to look cool, but despite that, I love this project's ethereal celestial, soothing sound.
Maria posted on Instagram that this is the last Not for Radio project for a while, I love how she gave this "goodbye" energy, people are calling it the "end credits" to this phase, making every minute of it feel more precious and ... read more
the production should've been really tough to make, but not for Lazy Jay, on Bank's debut short EP, she decided to rap on some 90's high energy beats produced by electronic artists like Machinedrum and Lone. It moved away from the dominant "trap" sound of the era, instead, she went for deep basslines, synths, and "vogue" club aesthetics.
EDIT: Y'ALL I JUST KNEW ABOUT THAT TWEET SHE IS FUCKING DISGUSTING
(We still seperate the art from the artist tho)
I love everything on Demon Days, from the conceptual political lyrics to the amazing production that sounds dangerous, but you want to dance to it, at the same time which makes it perfectly shaped around the 2005 era specially after the 9/11incident, they changed something after their self-titled debut album, which is collaborating with big rappers and artists at that moment, such as MF DOOM, and De la Soul, the album is just a masterpiece and I think that I must listen more from the band.

it was a little boring at the start, but it really got better after the first three songs, I've said it a lot but until now with the first quarter of the year we got bunch of exceptionally great and unique Pop records.
