In honour of Big L's (and my) birthday, I decided to give his album a whirl and all I can say is... What did I expect other than a classic?
We see him break some incredible flows all over this thing as well as have some hard hitting bars. The production of the album is also solid and also feels Illmatic-y at times but that's hardly a bad thing if you think of the production on Illmatic.

The soulful singing and entrancing, at times floaty production can make you envision and feel paradise. There is no bad song on this album and it just makes me feel so refreshed. The ending of the title track is insane though...
Probably shouldn't have listened to this on the same day as Iceman, may have skewed my opinion on that album as a result because of the quality difference. But whatever we ball
