What a strange album, I kinda loved it. For the first track and half the second I was like "wow uhh this doesn't sound that good" but then it suddenly clicked and i was completely infatuated. This album is very fascinating. I love its dark, lo-fi, droning soundscape. It reminds me of those cursed videos of the early 2010s. I am also somewhat reminded of Katie Jane Garside's "Lullabies In A Glass Wilderness". This is what witchcraft sounds like. While I do like that Cain takes her time with these songs, with a few of the droning tracks (the title track and Pulldrone especially), I feel as though they could've been shortened as I feel that they simply meander after ... read more
