Sippin' on some syrup is simply greatness. Four amazing, catchy, memorable verses. One incredible and iconic beat with a simple hook made up out of a vocal sample.

Freddie Gibbs - Str8 Killa

An early and great showcase of Freddie’s music ability. Although the EP as a whole is far from the best project in his catalog it has my favorite song of all time, which is ”The Coldest”. Such a fucking incredible track.

This album is everything you could wish out of a DMX album, aggressive deliveries, iconic punchlines but at the same time you get beautiful heartfelt and personal reflections of DMX' past and present and all of his wrongdoings in life.

One absolute highlight on this track list is “Bring Your Whole Crew”. There is insane tension in the strings while DMX raps about some really shocking shit with some absolute mean and unforgiving charisma.

Nas - I Am...

One of the most overhated projects in 90s hiphop. Nas' rapping ability is still incredible and he constantly speaks creatively on different topics from different perspectives while he addresses world problems in regular Nas fashion. The beats are also ill as hell.
