This is his best album. I don't care what anyone alse says. You MIGHT be living under a rock if you haven't listened to this record yet.
I remember EVERYONE was talking about this on my YT page. I thought this was bout to be terrible. I lied.
Yeah, it might get repetitive once in a while, but it's the thought that counts, and that's why it's good. Would reccommend.
This is an amazing album from start to finish, for MOST songs. (I know it doesn't make sense, but i'ma explain)
The album starts off good, with The Ruler's Back, but the more Iistened, the more it started to sound a little bit repetitive. Jigga That N**** gotta be my favorite song on the album becuase it reminds me of that Egyptian Swag. All I need is probably the most underrated song on the album mainly due to the sampling that somehow reminds me of MJ for some reason. Overall, ... read more
I just wanna say, this is probably J.Cole's best album to date.
My favorite song from this album would probably be Two Six, following the intro. The whispering, and then the Hook, leading to the main verse is catchy and hard-hitting. I also really liked Legacy, 39 Intro, Poor Thang, Old Dog, and I Love Her Again. There are some boring parts of this album, but overall, not bad. Would Reccommend.
TESTING, is one of those albums where the title gives detail into what's gonna happen in this album. He's literally testing different styles and beats in this album. Only problem is that some songs hit and some just don't. Praise The Lord is probably one of the catchiest A$AP Rocky songs i've listened to, but CALLDROPS, on the other hand just doesn't first right for me, especially that TERRIBLE Kodak Black verse. This is A$AP's worst album and I'm not ashamed ... read more
When I first heard about this album, I thought this was going to be probably one of the most boring things I've ever listened to in my life. But it actially wasn't that bad, it's pretty good tbh.
My favorite song from the album has got to be House Of Balloons/Glass Table Girls, especially Glass Table Girls.
"BRING THE 707 OUT"
The beat is catchy and I really like the rapping from Abel.
Even though I don't have anything else to say about this, overall, this album ... read more
It. Was. Better. Than. I Expected.
Looking at this album, I though this was going to be EXTREMELY generic. But there were way more highs than lows on this album.
I don't really have a best song on this album, but there is a worst song, and that's Canal St.
It's not necessarilly bad, it's just really basic, boring, and generic (COMPARED) to the other songs on this record. I could delete that song, along with Excuse Me, and the score would've been bumped.
I'm not even gonna lie, this album feels like if you just but the same song 16 times. Sacrifice dosen't count. I wouldn't reccommend to top-tier critics.
I would've rated this higher if it wasn't for Blinding Lights and Save Your Tears.
This album could've literally been a 10/10 if at least 5 songs weren't on this album at all.
Too Late:
Perfect, in any single way, best song on the album. This song brings you with that hypnosis, synth-like intro. Then thebeat drops and it's like, wow, this is amazingly catchy.
I also really liked After Hours, Alone Again, Heartless, and Faith.
I didn't really like Snowchild becuase ... read more
I just listened to the TennisThom deep dive bro...
MUSICALLY, this is a 7
STORYTELLING, this is an easy, emotional 10
It was a 79, but after the deep dive, I turned this into an 81
I really liked the song "Change," as I think it's the best and most important song on the album.

There is no bad song on this album.
I first heard about this album from a video where Fantano (NO GLAZE) reviewed the best vs worst albums, I think from the 2010's or something like that. The title said "ATCQ," not knowing it stood for "A Tribe Called Quest at all.
I first listened to this album during the summer, but I didn't finish it, because my attention span was dead low at that time. Then I listened to it yesterday, and boy I got some things to say about ... read more
I'm going to be EXTREMELY honest with you, this album is EXTREMELY overrated.
I remember in the summer of 2024, after the whole Drake and Kendrick beef. I thought I zoomed through the whole Kendrick Lamar albums until I saw this album on Spotify, released in 2015. I went through the first song, Wesley's Theory. It felt like if someone was playing a vinyl or something like that, and then I hear the famous words...
"Every N***** Is A Star...."
I heard that just gradually get ... read more
TBH, this album is EXTREMELY overrated AND overhyped. I just don't get the hype of this album in comparison to others. I mean, there are SOME good songs like A Tale Of 2 Citiez, January 28th, Fire Squad, and St. Tropez, which is the best track on this album. I really DID NOT LIKE 03' Adolescence, as it was boring and painfully mid. I also didn't really like Hello or Apparently, but Love Yourz was fine ig. Note To Self probably had the best Melody and Harmony out of every song ... read more
First of all, I just want to say that this album is better than 1999, which I gave around a 72 or a 73 because it was all just boom bap and New York bs in that record.
We start off this album with GOOD MORNING AMERIKKKA, which is this lo-fi HEAVENLY beat which really fits as an intro. Then, we get into ALL MY PEOPLE, which has probably the best chorus out of each of the 12 songs. TEMPTATION, which is the most popular song, has probably the best beat there. These three songs are 10's and ... read more
I kind of reviewed this fast, but I don't care.
This album, is good, had some HIGHS and LOWS (BULLY refrence)
I didn't really like Kill Jay-Z, which I thought was boring and pointless throughout the whole track. But some others, like The Story of O.J, was probably the catchiest point on the record. I kind of thought 4:44 was kind of overrated, I mean everyone was talking about it, but I just didn't dig the song myself. Caught Their Eyes, is a really close second to being the ... read more
The album is good, but DEFINITELY not better than The Melodic Blue (I listened to it but haven't reviewed it yet)
I feel like some parts just kind of bore me a little bit, especially his raps for some of it. But some songs, like I am not a Lyricist, which me personally is the best song on the album, does a really good job when it comes to production and lyrics. I also like the outro of this song which kind-of feels like a introduction to the second-half of the album. I also like Birds ... read more
BEAUTIFUL IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE! This felt like if heaven was just in my ears all at once.
Let It Happen is amazing.
Nangs is probably the best interlude I have ever heard in my life.
The Moment is just FIRE!
Yes I'm Changing is my least favorite, but still good.
Eventually is just heavenly.
Gossip is just mindblowingly awesome.
The Less I Know the Better is great.
Past Life is catchy and really groovy.
Diciphles has probably the most comfortable and soothing chorus in the whole ... read more
Good but overrated. Some parts were really good, like 360, 365, Mean girls, I think about it all the time, and B2b. But some just bore me out a little bit. Would kinda recommend, but not for EVERYONE.
