How is this a must hear lmao. Just looped beats and repeated flows. A few songs are catchy though.
The aesthetic of this album is simply top notch. The songs also flow very nicely.
Disappointing drop off after hearing Diary and How It Feels To Be Something On
Repetitive instrumental formula is really exposed by lack of vocals. Its a nice formula tho
not a fan of the "depressive" tag. its more haunting than anything else because most songs sound happy but either have sad lyrics or parts of the song that sound "off" like the end of "Only Acting"
there are several minutes of what sounds like someone taking a shit while playing the kazoo and the occasional alien laser beam all with earrape drums. The payoff is a few minutes of tolerable music. I get its very different but, music can be different and also sound good
One of the more overrated albums and theres not really any arguing it. Not bad by any means just not special
RIOT and Signing Off are really the only BAD songs so it's crazy this is 40 (especially when looking at track ratings). And this was kind of trippie's last non-bloated project so its way easier to come back to
I really did not like any of the first 8 songs besides 'Never Catch Me' and almost gave on the album, but I'm glad I didn't because it gets much better in the second half.
Just doesn't scratch the same itch as their other stuff because it's less melancholic and more dancey
