Such a stellar record. Very bluesy. Favorite tracks: Blow At High Dough & 38 Years Old
While not quite as good as Cave World this album is superb. Favorite tracks: Man Made of Meat & Store Policy
Amazing Tolkien themed black metal album. The guitar riffs are killer. It also has great synth bits to it as well. Favorite Track: Flames Upon a Bridge (Kingdom in Fire pt.1)
What a wonderful piece of art. The album carries this grand, lonely, and melancholy vibe throughout. I highly recommend listening to this on a walk through the woods. The synth bits are great as well. Favorite Track: Echoes of Battle
Near perfect album. In my opinion it's the best album by the clash. Favorite Track: London Calling
Really great black metal LP. Has super cool instrumentation. Also the mix is really good. Favorite Track: Rites of Death
I'm super conflicted on this album. The theme, production, lyrics, and vocals are all great. I even love how it all sounds. Put it does not click somehow. I found myself zoning out at certain points. I'll probably listen through it again at a later point.
Really fun album. Was one of my favorite albums as a kid. Favorite song: Mrs. McGrath
A rather strong heavy/power metal album. It starts off really strong with burning times all the way through track 5 (watching over me). After that they are good but a bit similar. 1776 is a kind of boring instrumental track that goes on for far too long. But after that the album picks back up and finishes with a bang. Favorite track: Burning Times
It's a wonderful, noise-filled, thrash-inspired concept album that tells the story of an oil cult that controls the world and the coven of witches that turn a Gila monster into a Godzilla-like dragon that they lose control of and it destroys Earth.
Best song: Dragon
An absurdist, nihilistic, post-punk masterpiece. An insane album well worth your time.
Favorite Song: Ain’t No Thief
By far my favorite Iron Maiden album. The album is a concept album based on the book seventh son by Orson Scott Card. I love this whole album. It flows so well together. Best song: The evil that men do
War of ages: Eternal
This album hits with a damn bang. I don’t listen to a ton of metal core but it’s quite a treat when I do decide to listen. It also is pretty rare that you find any bands that are labeled “Christian Metal” to be any good. These guys do seem to pull it off. If you take these guys religion out of it it’s still really solid music. While this album is not perfect and some of the lyrics tend to be on the cheesier side the album as a whole does hold ... read more
Just wow. What a great album. I found it for $4 at a used music shop. It has a really interesting dark tone. Reminds me a lot of throwing copper by live. There’s not a single bad song on this album. Really feels like it should have been bigger. This album is superb
While I think this album is not quite as good as their previous albums it’s still super solid. It’s really well produced and has good songwriting. Favorite tracks: Living Dead Beat and bastards of bodom
Age of Winter is the first album by The Sword. While I think their later albums hold up a bit better this is a really solid stoner metal album. The guitar tone is great with a mix of doom and thrash-esc riffs. Favorite tracks: Iron Swan and Ebethron
To start out I really like KMFDM. But this album is so boring. It’s filled with songs that blend together and go on for way too long. With the exception of DIY. DIY is awesome. If the whole album was like that it would be great. Overall it’s a slog and found myself zoning out while listening
I’m not a U2 fanboy and really don’t listen to them often. I quite enjoy their music when I do listen. Achtung Baby is a really fun album that starts off really great . I love Zoo Station and even better than the real thing. This album has some of U2s best work. The album really doesn’t have any bad songs. I feel the last song ends a bit weird feels like it should have one more after. It’s a great album to listen to on a rainy walk
A really wonderful folk rock album. It goes from upbeat to slower-paced songs that all flow really well. Really great
