I’m one of the most brutally honest people on here when it comes to rating, because I see past the hype that people give certain things (you can check my other ratings in my profile), so when it comes to this album, we can all agree that this is an absolute fucking masterpiece, even when some tracks are “whatever”, it is still, by far, one of the greatest albums of all time.
(Edit: changed my 94 to a 100, there are no “whatever” tracks, absolute flawless album)
FINALLY! I’m actually glad he delayed the release because that listening party was HEAT! Still sad that “Everybody” isn’t on here but it’s not the end of the world. “King” was a little too egomaniac for me but everything else satisfied. ALBUM OF THE YEAR
Edit: Gave it 5 more points because it’s growing on me more and people are trying to make it look bad
Edit #2: Finally going up to 100, growing up is realizing Problematic and King aren’t ... read more

Agree with the critics on this one. Only critique is the “interludes” and fillers and such are kinda worthless. The rest is marvelous
Edit: Changed rating from 85 to 91 😩
91 —> 100 Nothing can make me hate Jacob
I’m more disappointed that the Jacob Collier feature didn’t suffice to my standards 😭
Great album… way too long. Love how each track fits the vibe perfectly.
I think what really took me a while to get around to this album is the starting track being “I Thought About Killing You”… but yeah great album overall!
Edit: “I Thought About Killing You” isn’t as bad as I thought. Changing my 80 to a 90)
Edit #2: Changed my 90 to 100, what can I say
When y’all had to order music to listen to it, this is all you guys had. Call it “blinded by nostalgia”. THIS SHIT FUCKING SUCKS
(Edit: changed rating from 0 to 78, I realized that I was probably sick when I listened to the album so nothing was gonna sound good anyways)
(Edit #2: I guess I just wasn’t listening, moving up to an 83 now)
Okay, the tracks that do give the album this rating are phenomenal! The rest lack that. Not bad tho
Yikes. While I was listening, I forgot I was even listening to music… Uninteresting and unsatisfying. There’s some good ones tho…
Edit (20 > 90)
As the new Mitski arrives, I've decided to finish Mitski's discography, while also re-reviewing this poorly rated one of mine. What the fuck was I thinking, this shit is actually so bomb, is this what being a girl feels like?)
There is wayyyy too much hype about this album. Just a collection of shitty drafts with Earls typical bored/high flow. I need to see whatever yall see in this because I just do not understand it
Let me explain. Repetitive tracks, nothing groundbreaking-ly special about most of the songs (Besides Borderline, Is It True, and It Might Be Time), though I will give it credit for its different sound!
Edit: Changing from a 35 to a 67. I like Instant Destiny, Breathe Deeper (especially the one with Lil Yachty), and Lost in Yesterday
This album is PAINFULLY uninteresting. What’s the point in digging into the lyrics when the songs are all unlistenable? Snooze fest! (Only mildly enjoyable one was Funeral)
