Hmm... Lemme start this review off by saying, I sat and listened to the entire thing, no skips, and I even listened to the 3 deluxe songs to make sure I wasn't crazy. I don't understand the hype around this. For me, this LP is just a dry version of a 100 gecs record with an overexaggerated british accent. Some of the most tasteless and dry music I’ve ever heard, then you got the last track which saves it all
Come on Tru… 49 songs, with a length of 3 hours 💀 This is my first experience with this artist and after fully finishing the album, I do like him for sure! The album could’ve been WAY shorter, due to the inconsistency of some of the songs, but nonetheless, a solid album. I’ll try listening to more of Tru’s newer projects, but for now, I need a Tru break 😭
Very solid live performance, some songs I was very disappointed in, but some songs were very much improved with a live sound :)
It’s been so long since I’ve sat through an entire album and be as invested as I was into this masterpiece that queen Mitski has gifted this world
That second track kinda hurts my head a lil but I can get over it. This whole album is just so serenading, especially after the shitty as FUCKING day i’ve been having :)
