For a debut, especially for a highschooler in the underground, this is very impressive! Not even close to his best works, but still very incredible, especially with the circumstances Zel was in. He always had that talent in him. The outro is incredible

This may be the best, or second best, rage OF ALL TIME.
From the impeccable production, to the outrageous and hilarious samples, to the BARS (especially coming from a rage artist, crazy), to the consistency of this project as a whole.
This deserves the popularity it has gotten on the internet as of the last few months. This album is crazy... Every single song sounds so unique and breaks the mold of the standard rage song... Some of these songs are like genuinely beautiful. They are about ... read more
Through the late night is just a below average cudi song with a really ahh Travis verse. Wtf is this. Casually having some fire features while Scott himself sounds like a random guy off the street with autotune at 200.
Most of the songs feel like him mumbling about the same things over Travis Scott type beats... With some rare exceptions. Also the instrumental bridges are beautiful on the songs that have them... Tuff.
My main critique of this is that it sounds somewhat boring and very ... read more
When zel said the second half would be a way different I can see what he was saying: This is by-far the poppiest zel has sounded, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. He does it very well. This is a fun, interesting 30 minute project, with only 8 songs, making it one of zel's shortest projects. But this is more than just Denzel curry; This is the Scythe.
I LOVE The Scythe.
EDIT: I would separate this into two discs, as it feels more like a double EP than a proper mixtape or ... read more
Some of the most beautiful, poetic writing I have EVER heard in my entire life. Mixed with some of the best beats on hip-hop history, we get a true masterpiece on our hands.
Top 3 Albums from 2015, rivaling TPAB with the first six songs oml. I really don't have many words .. Just please listen to it
There are many interesting ideas within this album, such as, how Dilla and Madlib switch roles every other track, or how the songs all have a skit of some sorts in them for the most part, similarly to Madvilliany. It kinda felt like leftovers of the leftovers of Madvilliany. But it got better later in the tracklist (kinda). I think I just really wished a liked this more. Two of my favorite underground producers... Sad it was kinda a mixed back.
I am listening to all the old Stones Throw ... read more
What a legend. It's so sad we never got a DILLA DOOM album.
How do you not cry to don't cry oml.
This is a classic, no doubt about that. 43 minutes felt like 10 listening to this masterpiece. Every beat is crafted with such excellence. It would be top 10 albums of all time if it was a DOOM collab album
Yet another mediocre pop album. Cool that he gave a latin feel but it felt painfully boring pretty quickly. He shoulda just linked up with paak again bro π«©. What imare half of these songs. None are necessarily awful or repulsive. But none are really that great either. Every song is a repetitive love song. Bro cannot write anything that isn't a love song these days.
Favs: why you wanna fight, I just might.
Least favs: chachacha
After three years... Gorillaz have returned with their greatest album in a decade and a half.
A beautiful union between electronic rock and the sounds of blissful Middle Eastern/ Asian instrumentation with Damon Albarn's timeless vocals. However, I have a few criticisms:.
Some of the songs on this album feel a bit messy, with some of the transitions feeling a bit off, particularly on some of the songs such as "The Manifesto" or "Delirium." I don't really know what ... read more
18 songs of melodic trap. This is my least favorite out of the two don toliver albums I have heard, this and Hardstone Psycho, just because it felt fairly generic, sadly. I really wish that don toliver just went in a different direction, and changed some of his vocals. The auto-tune got a little to "auto-tuney" on this project. But still better than Travis Scott in the big 26 βοΈπ€£
This is Brent's "Thriller," just Pop/R&B heaven.
The grooves on this album are such a vibe, the instrumentals are vibrant and bright, with colorful synths, calming melodies, and emotional drums.... Paired with Faiyaz's incredible vocals, this album has the perfect ingredients for a great R&B album.
Thank You Brent Faiyaz
Ig bro π«©βοΈπ₯.
The ultimate "online" techno Album. But uh yeah it's not really for me. Maybe I'm just hating, but like I kinda wish there was clear vocals on songs like show you the hi way, cuz it would be like an incredible song if it wasn't just the stupid screaming electronic voice the whole time, but whatever ig.
Why was my goat Danny not on this project? He would of killed it in some of these songs. But woah.... Gotta give femtanyl some credit when it ... read more

W Keem.
As much as I recognize it is pretty dumb to keep trying to compare Keem to his older cousin, Kendrick Lamar, I kinda want to. While Kendrick makes more traditional rap music, keem makes more alternative r&b and trap, both of which he does pretty well on this project. Every single beat on this thing a crazy. Some introspective tracks, like 16, while others are just pure trap bangers, like family ties. This album is a great sample ... read more
BABY KEEM STRIKES AGAIN! Hykeem has just released his second studio album: CA$INO!!!
The intro is an insane opener, woah.
The second song has one of the best trap beats I've heard keem on!
Birds and the bees is cool but the beat is kinda meh.
Wth is Kendih on in goon flirts bro...
