All of the songs besides traditional are hits. Too many interludes to rank this higher.
I said this about Isiah's album but this is album of the year. Vince Staples can't miss when it comes to putting out albums. Vince is trying new things on this album and it is working, and he sounds perfect over all of it. The beats, flows, lyrics, and all of that is perfect. AOTY
This album had surpassed what I thought it was gonna be. 21 did his normal thing, but not knowing the features helped me get more hyped when I heard them.
Rick Ross's best by far. The beats here were fire, the features were fire, and Rick Ross was fire. Great album overall.
What a album this is. This is my first time listening to Milo and I am impressed. This dude can flow over any beat, and he has good lyrics. Kenny Segal plays a huge part of this being the producer making the beats that Milo flows over.
This Mac Miller feels more towards To Pimp A Butterfly than Swimming. Some of these songs are definitely his best, but some just don't hit for me. Solid album overall and the pacing was very good for a 10 song 52 minutes.
This album exceeded my expectations for Ab-soul. I feel Ab-Soul did not get out rapped on any song maybe besides Black Lip Bastard, but that's my opinion. Illuminate is definitely my favorite where Kendrick dropped a very hard verse and Ab stayed on course with Kendrick on the song.
The three songs were very solid from Freddie. I did not know Freddie was just gonna drop a random EP, but I am happy that he ended up dropping because it was some of his best work.
What a Album this is, and I should have listened to this when it dropped. This is album of the year for me, for sure.
I did not know he was better than this. Earrings is such a good song but it's not beating the other songs by a mile.
The first half of this album is insane. Shoutout to Rosenberg for putting this together, and how well everyone did on this project.
The start of this album was better than the second half. Hit-boy really did his thing on here.
This exceeded my expectations, but New York Hip-Hop has always been fire. This showed me new artists like DyMe-A-DuZiN, and the Kid Daytona. Everyone spit fire verses just some weaker than the others.
The worst of the series I have heard. Mona Lisa is Wayne's best song, and Kendrick's feature since the feature has so much emotion to it. XXX did a great job on the hook, and Snoop did his thing. Used 2 I feel is the most underrated song on the album. The album is very bloated though.
This is exactly what I thought this album would sound like. The energy was high, Juicy J rapping about the same thing, and the features from three 6 Mafia were all very good.
The songs on this album were very good. Their were too many interludes or intermissions for my liking, but the theme around the album was perfect. If the theme of the album wasn't as creative as it is, then this rating would be a lot lower.
Curren$y with this series has been rapping to perfection. The beats were amazing, the features were amazing, and even the album covers looked cool. This album was the worst out of the trilogy but not by far because how great this series was.
Not as good as the first one, but still has the same consistency as the other one. The big hits aren't as good as the first one, but flight briefing was such a good song it was incredible.
The best Curren$y project I have heard. The features from Big K.R.I.T., Jay Electronica, and Mos Def were fire. Curren$y went hard as always.
