Giving this a yellow rating feels so bad cause the first 8 tracks are so good man. After those first 8 it unfortunately falls off, and really only picks it back up at the last two tracks. Like I said giving this bellow green feels bad but I have to be honest with my feelings
It sounds good for most of it but I feel some of these songs dont do much to keep my attention. Obrigado is amazing though.
Easily JPEG's weakest so far. It's still pretty decent, but honestly maybe the most disappointing part was that I really have very few thoughts about it. I just came out of it thinking "yep, that was an album". Oh and also Lights might be the worst Peggy song I've heard, that beat is laughably bad, it sounds like what you'd find if you typed "All of the Lights trap remix" into yt. In a year full of excellent rap albums, Peggy unfortunately did not deliver.
Generational listen, the consciousness shown throughout the album leading to such an incredible and positive last track is genuinely amazing.
Holy shit, I'm dead serious when I say this is one of the worst albums I have EVER listened to. Amazing Shape is the worst song I've heard in a hot minue. Also I didn't know that the woman on the cover is his mom??? That makes it even more gross for me, yikes. I pray the third album will be better than this cause holy shit.
The fact that music that sounds like this is still being made is really awesome
i just got reminded of this bc of the spotify all-time summary. i used to love this movie back when it came out (i was 9 at the time lol) and played te shit out of some of these. and genuienly this is great stuff still
