This album was good but it doesn't really have much replay value for me at all aside from the singles and Moonlight. The songs on here just have a kind of drab feel to them production wise (very 2016 imo) which kinda doesn't make me want to revisit them since I prefer the brighter production style of sweetener a lot more. Still a lot of bangers, but kinda overrated especially within the Arianator fanbase.
This was pretty good, but the sound does get kinda tiring after a while of hearing similar trap beats. Overall really fun though, I especially liked when she switched it up on songs like the pov ballad and the unique beat on west side
Really nice sound, enjoyed this album overall! The last three songs kinda dragged for me (hence the lower score) but this was still really enjoyable and I'd love to listen to more city pop style music
It's nice, definitely has the potential to grow but I'm not really a big fan of the lyrics, kind of feels like a rehash of the lyrics on Brighter Days. Not bad though, and I dig the production quite a bit.
Just listened to it again, it sounds like bittersweet by Madison Beer
Who knew Kim Petras had the potential to make an album this good all along! (Not me clearly, because this album had me flabbergasted)
I love the glitchy electronic production on here and I hope Kim does more music like this in the future because it really suits her.
Really enjoying this album a lot! Been listening to it on repeat while doing chores around the house and its a vibe, pretty much every song is fun and danceable. The 80's synthpop aesthetic work well here and definitely reminds me of what Madonna would later do on her Confessions on a Dancefloor album (which I already love) so this whole album experience is totally for me. I especially really like the progression of the last track as well as the lyrics on it as they bring light to world ... read more
Never really liked her on Dream Academy either but... wtf is this?
I refuse to believe this is satire btw, she definitely meant everything in this song 100% and it just flopped 🤷♀️
The ambient orchestral production on this works so well and her vocals are HEAVENLY! Overall a really good track that makes me excited to hear about Eartheater's journey of motherhood on the album.
Finally falling for the propaganda... this album is really good you guys! The mix of genres outside of electro pop is really good and her flow is so good actually. OLD TECHNOLOGY is highlight for me, her vocals are so goooood on that song and the production goes hard.
I fear the Puss Puss remix is the only one that actually improves from the original... sorry 🤷
😍I love this song so much!!! I've wanted her to do a love song like this forever and it happened! I love the sound of this and the lyrics are so fun and relatable. Godrigo is here to make the ultimate summer album and I am READY 💗
Yeah this is worse than Internet Girl. This sounds even more unfinished and the lyrics are so bad. Not one fucking memorable moment. I want Katseye to be good so bad but they keep getting fucked the fuck over time after time and it's SICK and TWISTED. Also, like, what is this song supposed to mean? Is it supposed to be just a fun, vapid, dancey song? Cause they only got the vapid part down. I wouldn't dance to this at any club, and it's not really fun. Maybe Jojo Siwa could do ... read more
This album is underrated AF! Even though I wasn't that aware of Duff before this album cycle, I'm really invested in her future music career. This album gives me a lot of Midnights vibes, and even though I'm not a big fan of that album I think Hilary does a better job of it on here.
