Too many of y'all haven't fathomed this mixtape yet but it's time to WAKE UP!!! 🔥🔥🔥 (pitchfork was right)
Poppy's "I Disagree" album made me like metal for the first time, but this proved it wasn't just a fluke. I loved almost all these songs on this album front to back, really great production and vocals all around. Something about this sound is just so nostalgic to me, I don't know how to further explain it. Great first listen.
I was thourougly unimpressed with this album. This is my first experience with Cobrah's music, and with comeplete honesty it didn't make a good first impression on me. As someone who listens to a lot of dance music, these basic slap house beats just don't cut it for me. This is especially true considering other dance artists like twigs who are doing a similar style of dance music to a much more successful degree. The lyrics mostly left me confused, they felt like they were trying ... read more
Every time I listen to Chroma I want to cry, their music is just so nostalgic to me. Yes, this album is amazing, and you should definitely listen to it. But there will always be a personal bond I have with Chroma's music that makes me automatically like it. Don't take my word for it though, listen to it front to back because you will be taken on a journey.
This was everything to me in 2020 Robeats... still kinda is. More appreciation to this artist, please!
This is sooo good! Can't wait to heat the rest of pretour, cuz I'm down for more electropop bangers.
Disappointing, like half the songs are boring filler and the rest are pretty good or just okay. I only really like dying for you out of the new tracks but other than that this is definitely my least favorite Charli project.
Edit: Still not my fave album of hers, but it's grown on me
I thought I was going to hate this thoroughly, however there were several tracks in the second half that saved this for me. Still, some of the vocals are actual earrape despite the decent production. I like the screaming part on I think the 4th song but still the majority of it is just annoying vocals. Has potential but ultimately falls flat for me :/
I used to be SUCH a big melanie fan, and well I now have taste. But even younger me can't defend this, I mean it's just so boring. In summary, it's the worst parts of Katy Perry's 143 album and her bandaids single combined.
Decent! Definitely not what I was expecting, but a pleasant subversion of expectation nonetheless.
I basically like every song on here, but I'm not sure if it's a 100 yet
Edit: I still don't think it is but it's still really good though! My favorite song is definitely Judas (basic ik)
Found a bootleg vinyl for this album at my local record store. I really like a lot of the experimentation and poppier sound on this album! Some of the songs are a little boring, but overall I enjoyed this a lot.
