While I really like the production on this album I feel like roc lyrically struggles keeping his head above water on this album. Though there are some well-thought-out songs, I feel like a lot of it falls back on lyrical tropes.

As I’ve been deep diving into roc Marciano’s discography I’ve been hesitant to listen to 656 as the mixed reviews and recency have deterred me a bit but nonetheless I went into this album with an open mind and enjoyed it a lot! I hate to say this about an album as much as I like roc marci I really didnt see the appeal here
Pretty standard for Boldy; while he and Nicholas Craven obviously have chemistry, they have so many better works that make "late to my own funeral" feel non-essential in their joint discography. I much prefer the second half of the album, where the sampling feels much more impactful and Boldy's lyricism feels a lot more punchy than the first half of the album.
