Joyner Lucas - Broke & Stupid

That old school vibe that we all love. Amazing song!

Conway the Machine - Bang
90

That beat slaps harder than my step dad, damnnnnn, and both artists delivered.

Ed Sheeran - Remember the Name
65

Ed was good, Em really great and 50 was being Wallmart 50

NF - Perception
90

This album is top class, 16 songs and almost all are enjoyable. It got bangers (Know, One Hundred, Green Lights, Destiny), got amazing storytelling (Intro III), songs about him and his career (Outcast, Outro) and slower songs for those who enjoy that, for example If You Want Love, which is him singing the whole song and its honestly one of his best songs.

Favorites:
Intro III, Remember This, If You Want Love, Know, One Hundred, Outro

Least favorites:
My Life, 3 A.M.

NF - Mansion

Its a good enough debut album, glad he has grown from every album since

NF - Therapy Session
83

Dark and bloody fantastic!

NF - When I Grow Up
95

Awesome in every way possible. The music video is a must as it adds another dimension to this song, as it tells the story of a struggling up and coming artist who finally breaks through.

The transition in the end of the video is SICK.

Yelawolf - Love Story
95

Fantastic album, easily his best and this is what made me really open my eyes for his unique and awesome style.

Joyner Lucas - I'm Sorry
100

His best song by far.

Locksmith - Ali
80

Dude is mad underrated

J. Cole - KOD
55

Has some great songs in it like Photograph, Kevin's Heart, BRACKETS & 1985.

Overall, this album was a disappointment though.

J. Cole - 4 Your Eyez Only
75

Great, got some vibey songs to it but would have loved more improvement from 2014 FHD

Xiu Xiu - Girl with Basket of Fruit
1

It didn't take more than jumping through each track for a few minutes to realize this ain't music, its just noise.

Worst shit I've heard, I want my 3 minutes back.

WESTSIDE BOOGIE - Everythings For Sale
93

Great album, something you can bump anywhere and just get in the zone to. Not a single bad song.

NF - The Search
100

Best album this year so far and I highly doubt anything can top it. 18 songs and all are unique sounding with great replay value. This dude is the most talented artist out there.

"@landlalt this rating is from last year in September Thanks for commenting, I have now amended it from 100 to 80 :) Clipping really isn't music though, that opinion will never change"

"Went and had a quick listen to Pusha's part off of "Circles". He's still rapping, he's not mumbling? How on earth can you say that Pusha is a mumble rapper for being on one track with Desiigner? That's like saying Eminem is a mumble rapper because he had one song with Juice, you realize how stupid that sounds, no? "
On shenalg01's review of Joyner Lucas - ADHD
"@shenalg01 I never said ADHD was superb, so why you linking that? My comment towards you, was that you dissed Joyner, but fuck with Young Thug. Overall, Joyner is dope, but ADHD was a let down, a big one. "

"How you gonna call J. Cole mumble/trap? Lmao, and to use ATM of all?? Since when is repeating lyrics considered Mumble/Trap? ATM is not a song I listen to, but it ain't a Mumble/Trap song, it's pure rap, he's RAPPING. He's not going "dshfogdhjifughdu hdshjfgdfjg idjfigjdfijg odifjgoidjfgo djfig dfghdfg" on the mic. If we're gonna go by that logic, "Options" by NF is apparently a mumble/trap song due to the repeating chorus. You don't even seem to understand what mumble/trap is, even though you claim to listen to it, laughable. "

"@shenalg01 "So you gonna act like JID don't make trap music. Heard Off Deez??? Joey Badass?? heard Front and Center or the Beast Coast tape?? Pusha T?? Heard Cruel Summer or Blocka? Or that song with Desiigner?? J Cole?? Heard ATM?? (Says count it up more then Lil Pump says Gucci Gang)" You're mentioning these, as if one song or a few makes them a mumble rapper, the fuck? Off Deez is not a mumble rap/trap song Front & Center is neither??? Have not listened to the Beast Coast album so cannot say anything about that Pusha T - What song from "Cruel summer" that Pusha is on, is a mumble song other than "Higher", where he does regular rapping? Blocka ain't mumble/trap either LMAO at this point you are just throwing random shit out your mouth, expecting me to not reply. Never listened to the one with Desiigner, cause I can't fuck with songs that has garbage artists on them, that is why I didn't even bother listening to the song Joyner had Thug on, cause I know he will destroy the song "

"@shenalg01 Lmao it's funny cause you don't even know what I listen to, but keep on thinking I listen to "Radio Hip Hop" only. Here's what I consistenly listen to (I'll put the ones you hate first, to get them out of the way): NF Joyner Joey Bada$$ Boogie Marlon Craft Locksmith Malz Monday Pusha T J. Cole Dizzy Wright JID Royce"

"@shenalg01 I'm not gonna have another braindead discussion with you cause you don't understand hiphop, lmao. It's not worth spending my energy on this pointless shit. I'll answer your last question though. No, I do not listen to Drake. Drake is trash af, dude is literally a pop star that pretends he can rap. Pusha on the other hand is dope AF. "
On Eminem - Music to Be Murdered By
"@shenalg01 Yo, this was given after my first listen. Now I would rate it a 75, I don't even listen to it anymore, would place it between a 55-60 now but I never bothered to update this cause I don't hang on this site that often."

On shenalg01's review of Joyner Lucas - ADHD
"Imagine dissing Joyner, but liking Young Thug. That says enough. "People acting like Thugger, Travis, Pump, Uzi, Future killed Hip Hop." They did though, along with everyone else that does Trap? Trap is awful in every way possible, and should not be considered a part of Hip Hop. "
On ka1's review of Joyner Lucas - Revenge
"The ADHD single was phenomenal? What are you saying? "
On Young Thug - So Much Fun
"@cow My point is that it should not count as hiphop or rap when it ain't. It should be in its own genre so it doesn't steal any limelight from real MC's. The artists aren't even the main thing about Trap, it is as you said the production. You could put anything over the beats. blast auto-tune on it and people would vibe to it anyways. It's still a shit genre and my opinion on it will never change, it's the cancer of music together with modern day pop. "
On Young Thug - So Much Fun
"@Oreox4 I've heard a good amount of Trap, enough to tell it is a garbage sub-genre of the greatest genre of all time. There is literally only one good thing about Trap and that is some of the beats. I love when real MC's be spitting over those type of beats cause that's fire. But the Trap stars themself? They're garbage, all of them. Makes me embarrassed being of the same generation as all these fans of Trap. You are more than welcome to send me what you consider "good trap", and I'll listen."
On Young Thug - So Much Fun
"None of these Trap stars will be looked back onto in 50 years, no one will say "shit, that guy really made dope music", nor will anyone listen to their garbage in 50 years either. Hiphop is supposed to be music for the soul, and Trap is NOT that, not in any way."
On Young Thug - So Much Fun
"...want from music is a nice beat they can turn up to, because most people my age are so braindead all they do is party and get high, so they've destroyed their brain cells to the point they aren't capable of understanding depth in music. Like, seriously, look at Marlon Craft for example. That guy is INSANE and barely anyone know about him, and then you have these fools like Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty and all these TALENTLESS "artists" get attention, its fucking sad man."
On Young Thug - So Much Fun
"@Oreox4 I have had to unwillingly listen to a lot of trap, in social situations, when with friends that listen to it etc. and its all just the same. Excessive amounts of Auto-tune (if you rely on auto-tune, you are automatically fucking trash), lots of mumbling and talking about irrelevant fucking things. Trap is everything that hiphop should not be, its a genre for talentless artists and for stupid, young people with no critical thinking, that can't understand real lyricism and all they...."

On shenalg01's review of NF - The Search
"Sup, Didn't call MF Doom boring, just that his style doesn't suit me. 99,9% of the songs I listen to are lyrical, but they also have the other aspects too, that is what I meant. It needs to have it all, not just lyrics, not just a nice beat or vocals, everything needs to be good or I will lose my interest. By "enjoyable" I did not mean in the terms of turn up music, I don't fuck with that. My main prob with Trap is not the lyrics, its the excessive use of autotune. "

"OFF TOPIC: Go listen to Malz Monday - FLEDGE EP Found it the other day and its dope af"
On shenalg01's review of NF - The Search
"Regarding your comment about MF Doom, Big KRIT etc, obviously I do know of them, and I do appreciate them being around because they make real stuff and I do occasionally listen to them, but their style doesn't really suit me. I cannot listen to a song for lyrics only, it has to be enjoyable also, and I find the ones I mentioned the best at it all."
