Seeing Tyler perform this album live really enhanced my rating. The production and story, much like his previous albums, is on point.
One of the best mixtapes I've heard. Mac's work with sampling and his skillful writing bring this project together. Some of the lyrical content is haunting knowing what happens later on, but the way Mac flows on each track grabs your attention.
Frankly disappointing. Surprisingly the only good song is with the guy he used to beef with.
Haha, rating this album an 85 because funny number. But seriously, this is Logic's best work. This is his most focused project, probably because it's been so long in the oven. I hope this sets a better precedent for his later works. Coulda done without the skits, but I'm not complaining about hearing Steve Blum.
Logic going back to his boom-bap sampling roots is a nice treat, though the interludes don't add much to be desired.
A good sendoff that would've hit more if he meant retirement. Though I knew he wouldn't stay away for long.
overhated just a tiny smidge, but that doesn't make it any better, does it?
Mac's journey of finding himself and coming to terms with his flaws is a beautiful journey that unfortunately never bore any fruits save for this album.

Good News made me cry. Once a Day feels like an abrupt ending, much like how Mac's career was, unfortunately. This is a wonderful send-off to Mac's legacy.
Another great album that is part of what is now a great 4 (debatably 5) album run from Tyler. Once again, Tyler always brings the best out of his features, from Daniel Caesar and Teezo Touchdown on St. Chroma and Darling, I respectively, to Sticky's surprising lineup and a great ScHoolboy Q feature. Tyler's "All songs written, produced, and arranged by Tyler Okonma" flex is nothing to scoff at.

Have not heard any of black midi's work, but this album was definitely a treat to listen to. From front to back, this project had a consistent, yet interesting sound that was captivating.

a very enjoyable listen. My first BC,NR album was not a disappointment and I am excited to go back into the band's discography.
Found this one random night on YouTube, pleasantly surprised by the instrumentals and the chord progressions.
