Wow, I'm very familiar with death grips as I've listen to a good amount of their projects, and even have the money store on vinyl. I never listened to this project as it wasn't on spotify and I was lazy, fuck spotify. I'm soo glad I listened to this and I wish I was rich and could but the vinyl.

Each song is so awesome. Listening to this just makes me feel cool. I recognized a few of the samples and the production was immaculate. The production on ... read more

I love this album, its great. Well it may not be as phenomenal as The now now and never it is something totally unique. The songs on here are so fun to listen to. The vocals really fit the music to me and the guitars are super creative. Not mentioning the drums the instrumentation is beautiful. Now the drums on the other hand are some of the best drums i've heard. They feel a little off and they feel realistic. Idk if their programed or recorded but either way to come up with them is so ... read more

I decided to listen and review one of my favorite records today. This is the best representation for music growing on me. I found this on some random guys topster a little over a year ago. It didn't click with me at the time, I actually didn't like it other than 100. A couple months ago I was on vacation in Portland, Oregon. I was sick for most of the trip and I decided to put on Dean Blunt. It instantly clicked with me and I spent the rest of the trip listening ... read more

Welp. It's a cool project but as others said theirs only really 3 songs worth listening to and that's lose your sight and siesta. I also liked a white sheep walks and I think it's slept on. It's a cool project but I don't see it growing on me.

Satanicpornocultshop - The Shipboard Gardener: music for Listening Room at UNYAZI Festival 2014

This thing fucks soo hard and after the last album I listened to from Satanicpornocultshop they kinda lost me a bit but after this they pulled me right back in.

Satanicpornocultshop - Rob A Grave Vol.1
73

Third album on the Satanicpornocultshop spree. I didn't like this one as much as the others I've listened to but its still pretty good. Its fun but the songs get boring and repetitive after a while, still great tho.

Nero's Day At Disneyland - From Rotting Fantasylands
87

One of the coolest pieces of production work I've ever heard. Each track has unique samples and loud jarring noises that somehow become very easily listenable. I will definitely come back to this and deep dive into all the samples, it might go up in score to an even higher point but rn I love this project. Its like a dance on a trapeze.

Satanicpornocultshop - Maiden Voyage
89

This was the second project I listened to on my Satanicpornocultshop journey. The way this album mixes jazz and electronic is so relaxing and yet always keeps me engaged for the duration of all the songs. The samples on this album are awesome to hear and the cover somehow represents the music again much like their other projects.

I've never been so excided to hear what the next track would entail. Every song on this album is so different from the next. Each song could have a fast or slow tempo I could have some crazy sound whoever the female singer is she has a beautiful voice.

After hearing the first song I could not have told you what I was about to experience. Every song was so enjoyable to listen to. When feed me w ur kiss came on I lost my mind. That was the point where this album ... read more

The Microphones - Mount Eerie

I actually liked this better than glow pt. 2, the only other project I was familiar with. The tracks on this album are so grand in scale and it really feels like you climbing and marveling at a giant mountain. I love me a good concept album and this does it to perfection. Track 4 was my favorite mostly because of the lyricism. This is a must listen project each song fits soo perfectly with each other and the album as a whole. Phil's lyricism is always great and this really shows he's ... read more

Giles Corey - Giles Corey

This album is soo relatable its actually scary. I can definitely see in time this become one of my favorite albums of all time as it grow closer and closer to my heart. One day I might do a full length review on it but for right now this album has hit a close spot to my heart. This is not a light listen and if you think you can't handle it that's completely fine, but for anyone brave enough this is a must to understanding yourself and others with mental illnesses.

They Are Gutting a Body of Water - Destiny XL

Great shoegaze tracks mixed in with lackluster electronic instrumentals. In terms of new age shoegaze this is great if your a fan of the genre. Theirs definitely some great tracks here that I could listen to over and over but as a overall experience the experimental stuff doesn't really do it for me.

This is heat. Most of the songs are absolute bops. This is the type of music you have to be blasting when you drive through your gentrified community. It is perfect music to just put on and not really think to hard and just feel the heat. The production on this album is on another level, especially because it's not all one style of music. Their are some misses and this inst an album I see becoming near and dear to my heart but what's here is fun.

Weatherday needs to release another album please. I love noise music soo much it's crazy. I love this weatherday project a lot.

Immediately after hearing the first song I get locked into the rest of the project. Most of the songs on this album are just fun to listen to and for a debut album that's incredible. My Sputnik Sweetheart is genuinely one of the best songs in the genre. The diverse vocals in this album really bring the songs together. The guitar tones ... read more

Holy fuck. Ive never heard something this crazy in my life bro. The piano and bass in this album go absolutely hard as fuck. I found this album through my friend and holy shit i thank him everyday. I only speak english and could'nt understand shit but i could understand the energy of this song jesus christ. Please listen to this. Every song was such a joy to listen to and they each had their own thing that made them special.

Waking up from a long nap with confusing dreams is how id describe this album sonically. Art pop is a cool asf genre but its easy to do bad. Parenthetical Girls is a phenomenal artist and I wanted to review their other album but it isn't on aoty. I decided to listen to this album instead of the other one so I could still review one of their projects.

I am very familiar with Parannoul, this isn't even the first time i've listened to this project, but it is the first time I listened to the whole of "Into the Endless Night". Let me just say wow, this is phenomenal and I can't believe these were preformed live. I will be splitting this review into 2 parts, one Into the endless night and the other for the rest of the songs.

Ive been wanting to listen to this for a long time. Before this I had never even heard a Bjork song, and I can now say i'm a fan.

Vespertine is one of the most creative and beautiful things i've ever heard. The production baffled me on how someone would even be able to come up with this. The sounds choice on this album is genuinely crazy. Not to mention Bjork vocals that transcends god. Idk how someone with such a beautiful voice even exists. The way this album ... read more

Twin fantasy is a staple of indie rock that I have a far amount of experience with. Many of the songs here I am familiar with but have not deeply listened to them. I decided to revisit it after hearing Sober to Death again randomly.

The instrumentation do a perfect job of accompanying Wills enthralling vocals. This album captures you in the first song when all the instruments build into some crazy power. Many songs on this album are long and take a big commitment but their ... read more
