A solid EP, really excited to see where this band goes with their future stuff
Cut the album in half and it goes to a 90, some songs are really average
Perhaps a little generic at times, but overall solid with a fun psychedelic twist
I think the biggest strength of this album is consistency, it doesn't quite reach the highs of some grunge (like Ten does for example), but my God is the whole thing such an enjoyable listen
Don't think I'm in a good enough position the give this a rating yet. Listened to it while studying so wasn't fully paying attention, will need to give a another listen with my full attention. Although I did really like A Doll Fulla Pins, that did make me fully concentrate on it for its duration, the jazz is just mwah
Honestly surprised this has a low rating, I thought it was pretty enjoyable, I think sometimes people need to pull their fingers out their ass just half an inch
First track was really enjoyable, rest of the EP didn't really do anything for me though
Through the very dull parts and the highs (I will be listening to Quiet Little Voices at every opportunity), the Scottish lead singer who can't sing very well makes it whole
Incredibly strong debut album, definitely preferred the heavier elements over the shoegaze - not entirely sure if I could consider it grunge though
Rating Every Radiohead Studio Album (7/9):
-5 points because I don't want to look like a complete virgin
Rating Every Radiohead Studio Album (6/9):
Pretty great album. A little bloated and maybe a little average by Radiohead standards, but otherwise contains a couple of their best tracks
