Will Wood - "In case I make it,"
79

Juxtapose to Will Wood's earlier stuff, In Case I Make It is a very well crafted and orchestrated album using each aspect to its fullest. Some songs may be corny like Against the Kitchen Floor and Alright, That's Enough Let's Get You Home, but it doesn't take away from the album for its uniqueness and lyrical tones. Overall, this is a very solid album with my favorites being The Main Character, Tomcat Disposables, and Willard.

Will Wood - The Normal Album

Pretty awesome but it definently could use a little dialing back on the dramatic endings. But it doesnt bother as much as other theater core esque stuff.

Mr. Bungle - California

This album has a lot of great lyrical themes, interesting sounds, and great rhythm to keep the listeners attention throughout the project. The only con would be the track bionic vapor boy with the weirdness becomes too overpowering for the track.

Tally Hall - Good & Evil

Wow this shit is so stale and boring it's unreal. Same situation with MMMM, but this time the sound is less fun and more of a chore to get through the whole album now.

glass beach - the first glass beach album
85

the first glass beach album is a very neat mix of punk and power pop with a lot of "questionable" lyric choices. The sound of the album is very groovy and amazingly produced like if they were in proximity of the listener. The first half of the album has very strong and noticeable songs like classic j, bedroom community, neon glow, and cold weather. The second half of the album while not as strong still has some great tracks like the ending track orchids, a very spectacular ending to ... read more

Horsey - Debonair

Experimental is definently the best word for this album. With very high highs with songs like sippy cup, lagoon, and wharf. Opposed to the lower more forgettable tracks inbetween like arms and legs. Theres no real flow and feels more like a compilation than anything else.

Jack Stauber - Finite Form
55

The first half of the album is decently strong with windrag and smooth but I always seem to lose it in the second half. He uses more strange vocal effects that is similar to Jack Stauber's newer stuff. As a whole the album flows decently and has a very soothing tone and feel despite it dragging near the end.

Gorillaz - Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez
80

A very groovy album with some high highs and tolerable lows (excluding the bonus tracks). There is alot of interesting collaborations with recognizeable faces like Elton John, Octavian, Beck, etc that add a lot of creativity and uniqueness to the project.

AJR - The Click
15

For an album that has a song named "The Good Part", there is nothing good about this LP in the slightest. Just the same annoying EHS enducing torment that is AJR.

AJR - Neotheater
14

Its just really forgettable and obnoxious. All of the random sfx and pitch bends dont add to this they just make it more unbearable.
