Great, maybe even amazing production with some pretty solid rapping as well.
Being my first Marcus D album, I didnt really know what to expect. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I think the production is excellent and the album definitely has a lot of highlights. The rapping is often where it falters, but it's still for the most part enjoyable. It definitely can have its issues though, especially on the back half of the album, where the rapping feels outdated and not in style.

What happened to the guy who used to make a solid amount of bangers, had solid singing abilities, and carried summers for popular music? Besides all that, what happened to the guy who used to put together actually cohesive albums?
Classic record, amazing record, Lupe Fiasco, the absolute goat.
Food & Liquor is a legendary project with some of the best song concepts and bar for bar rapping you will ever hear. Not much else to say besides that
