Radiohead - OK Computer
100

OK Computer is one of the most unforgettable musical experiences you can submit yourself to- especially as a casual listener who wants to get something conceptual but easy to listen to, at least in my opinion. An album called "perfect", "classic" and "timeless" by many people, but who’s right...? I think all of those are true, and I’ll explain why.

What Radiohead did here is one of the most perfectly structured and thoughtful, yet entertaining and ... read more

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper

The highs are too high- damn... this is a good one, this is a good album.

I was a little skeptical about this album tbh, I saw people talking and reviewing this record as some sort of masterpiece, calling "the best of 2025", "the best of the decade", "musical cinema" which I wasn't sure about. Usually, I'm a little bit suspecious when it comes to album from people and groups I don't really know- even more when it comes to more ... read more

Metro Boomin - Metro Boomin Presents: A Futuristic Summa

Ngl people, I absolutely HATEEDDD this project. Look, I can kind of see the appeal to this mixtape, it can be pretty funny and the beats are kind of cool — but here's the thing: the overall hour and minutes length is completely atrocious, and the pretty mediocre guests made for one of the worst mainstream releases I've heard this year.

I get it, this is an Atlanta-focused project. It's not about me not knowing who these people are, or that this is a totally different vibe ... read more

Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist - Alfredo
89

This Alfredo album has been really important for the Hip-Hop landscape this decade. A grammy nominated project that caught the attention of a lot of people in and out of the Underground genre. The conversation around this project has been massive for a long time, even getting a sequel, so I decided to come back to it.

I'll start with the best attribute about this record, the production, the Jazz Rap selection is really impressive. I love how dynamic and focus The Alchemist tracks are ... read more

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2

Alfredo 2 is a pleasant surprise this year, specially for series releases. We had recently some example of sequel-albums that are... let's just say, pretty bad. Projects like "JACKBOYS 2", the "VULTURES" series, "Tha Carter 6" that were such a disappointment, so I had no expecations for this one, BUT... I can now confirm I was totally wrong, 'cause Alfredo 2 is great.

The production, DAMN- THE PRODUCTION WAS SO GREAT. The Alchemist still proves being one ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
81

Yeah, it's pretty good. I wasn't the biggest fan of this on first listen, but now I get it, and I get why a lot of people aren't going to be happy with this record. This is a short album, pretty much an EP, full of Dance-Pop tracks in a cohesive but non-conceptual way, a collection of tracks pretty much; a good collection of tracks for sure, but with a unique style this time around. However, this is a REALLY SHORT listen, a REALLY different Tyler record, especially for those who ... read more

JACKBOYS - JACKBOYS 2

Ima be honest, I just don't get what's the point, what's the point of JACKBOYS 2? I'm really struggling to see what this record can offer outside of doing numbers and a No.1 Billboard debut. I don't care if this is Travis or JACKBOYS fault, but this is a crime, this shouldn't even exist. Cactus Jack is doing nothing in 2025, especially the members that are represented on this album, the chemistry is not here, you need more flavor or, idk, SOMETHING!?

Hear me out. I know this record is a complete mess, the cohesiveness on this record is kind of gone, however... I really like it, I like a lot of these tracks and the full album experience is not that bad, actually it's pretty good.

Let's start with the features, then talk about the music. When it comes to the artists invited into this project, we get kind of a mixed bag; there's some that make sense and some that are kind of weird... but most of them have chemistry, I like ... read more

Charli xcx - BRAT

Charli xcx made a name for herself on the mainstream years ago with albums and singles, but this one, this one is her masterpiece. I get it, I get it, a lot of people hate this record, but... I don't know why. I get why, I just don't get why there's so much critique about it, I think this record delivers in every single aspect you could ask for, such as: production, a well-produced pop/dance record; lyrics, maybe not the best lyrics out there for sure, but every track has ... read more

Justin Bieber - SWAG

Yeah, this was bad. I'll start by stating I don't think this is pure trash nor something to sh*t on, I just found this very basic.

On first listen I was really impressed and happy with this record, I like Justin is trying something different, but now after few more listens the hype just went away. First of all, the music is... not great? I like some tracks and ideas that justin tries to deliver, the problem is I don't really like his voice, it's bland and gets uninteresting ... read more

Viagra Boys - viagr aboys

Solid. I forgot about this one for a while, so I decided to give this a listen again, and now I have another perspective. I really love what they do with most of these tracks, they're fun and full of energy. The worst moments of the record start close to the end, I don't really like them at all.

When it comes to production, its not mindblowing to me at all, but I have to say it works perfectly for the aesthetic of the record and how catchy A LOT of the tracks are. I have to give them ... read more

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out

If you thought Hip-Hop was dead, these two guys came back after 15 years to show it's not. 💥 That's Clipse and the highlight of 2025 "Let God Sort Em Out".

Let's start from the top. What can this duo contribute to the modern Hip-Hop landspace? Are they just "beefing" with everyone (Travis, Kanye...) for interactions? Or the phrase that never dies: "Does someone cares about Pusha anymore?". Well, I think this Clipse album runs deeper than ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.

DAMN. will really make you think DAMMMNNN about everything. It's no surprise to anyone how popular this record was and the influence it had on the culture. This was THE album of 2017, but... how good was it?

Well, let's start by the concept. As all of us know Kendrick IS the conceptual artist, and this record was not the exception. To me the concept is AMAZING, I really love how the record starts with "BLOOD." by saying:

"Is it wickedness?
Is it weakness?

Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon: The End Of Day

Man On The Moon: The End Of Day works as a concept, but also as something that you just want to sit and enjoy. The lyrics and concept are really well done, but mostly the overall experience. Kid Cudi with this record proves to be capable to deliver emotional tracks and productions, for example, the highs of the record are SOOO HIGH. Tracks like: "Soundtrack 2 My Life", "Day N' Nite", "Pursuit of Happinness" which are some of my favorite tracks ever.

This is trash music. Honestly, I don't even want to review this, I really suffered this one. I get that this a record made for the masses, the streaming era and everything, but man... this is just awful. I can't really say anything good about this album, outside of the album lenght, an OVERHATED album cover, and the first track being okay. But, outside of that, nothing good about this project.

The lack of quality is mainly due to these factors:

- His performances suck, they really ... read more

twenty one pilots - Trench

This is THE Twenty One Pilots album, they really outdid themselves with this one; which wasn't that hard of a task when you compare this with projects like "Blurryface" or "Vessel" WHICH AREN'T BAD, they have really great hits, but there wasn't that much quality nor focus compared to this one.

Now, what makes Trench such an amazing record? There's a lot of different reasons, but the biggest one for me is the blend of catchy, memorable and well put ... read more

This a favorite of mine. Not the best album I've ever heard, but when it comes to the current pop landscape this is one of the most unique records, in my opinion, one of her best projects; not only one her best albums, but also, some of my favorite songs. Tracks like "Cross You Out", "1999", "Silver Cross" go SOOOO HARD, its impressive to me.

When it comes to the production and vocals, most of the record sounds just as clean and well made as you could expect. ... read more

André 3000 - 7 piano sketches

André doing his thing. There's really nothing to get out of here, outside of he being so long gone of Hip-Hop these days.

I did enjoy "off rythym laughther" tho, that was cool.

Morgan Wallen - I'm The Problem
10

You know... Morgan Wallen is certainly an interesting artist, not because of his art, but because of his relevance in the music scene. I'm really impressed how with such mediocrity he can get so many numbers, specially with a record like this, a record that is SOOO dreadfully boring and long. I don't really feel like reviewing this after wasting 2 hours of my life on this, so I'll just resume my biggest complains with this record like this:

- Most of these tracks sound pretty ... read more

McKinley Dixon - Magic, Alive!

What a surprise! I was just looking through some recomendations and I came across this, an album with such high ratings only a masterpiece would have, and now after hearing this, I can confirm this isn't a masterpiece in my opinion. Like, It's a cool albuml, I really enjoyed the great production and personal style McKinley has to offer, but not the best rap album I've heard this year. Still, there's great moments and really enjoy how much of a style this has.
