Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
100

i dont have much time to say much on this album but all i need to say for now is that this is my second favorite album ever now. ignore my beautiful dark twisted fantasy that was more like an 8/10

Edit: 95 to 98, this album has only aged better over time

edit: fuck it we ball. i have been terrified to give this album a 100 for so long, and i realized, it literally doesnt matter. this album it amazing. no flaws. if i even had a complaint it would be to say the album was too short. there are ... read more

Tom Cardy - The Dancefloor at The End of The Universe
89

doesn't take itself seriously, just a good bop.

Edit: 85 to 90
This really just gets better with time, yeah the comedy is significantly different from the last album but it’s still hilarious to me, and somehow hot shit manages to be hilarious and inspirational

Edit: I have too many albums over 90 so I’m deducting some that I think I overrated

Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
95

this LP is honestly what got me fully into Kendrick Lamar. the story telling in some of these songs and the experimental yet brilliant beats only add to it. Whenever i listen to any of these tracks i can't help but bop my head and think "holy shit that was the greatest piece of rap I've ever heard." for example united in grief and father time have crazy beats but it's some of the best stuff I've ever heard. The reason this rating is not above 90 though, is because ... read more

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
80

Back then i used to doubt this. So i never gave it a chance. I thought it was just another album that was over hyped and only had short moments of glory. But one day i thought i would listen to this. and after finishing it, wow. this is so ambitious even for todays standards. And ever track just hits. Not a single disappointment. Sure a little slow at very small moments, but it makes up for those small moments by hitting me with beautiful lyrics mixed with beautiful noises. My second favorite ... read more

Eminem - Houdini
85

this is just a really fun track, it doesn't take it self too seriously and uses it's 4 minutes awesome. And i might be in the minority with this opinion, but i just like fun tracks like this one. I liked it, i get why you wouldn't like it, but its just a really fun track

Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us
95

kendrick casually dropping 2 singles above 90 is crazy

Jack Stauber - OPAL
95

Jack Stauber picked every single word very carefully so that it had meaning, depth, and passion. kudos to you Jack, this is truly your masterpiece.

The Caretaker - An empty bliss beyond this World
89

why would an empty abyss be sad?

a war no one fights in, but so many people die for

an empty world everyone looks forward to

the wish to be younger

calming yet disturbing. Is what i would describe this album. Putting this on after a long day just puts me in such a good mood. The caretaker truly makes albums that are so hard to describe but so easy to understand. Not much to say about this album, just gives me the feels.
(the random sentences were random thoughts that came to mind while ... read more

¥$ - CARNIVAL

I was listening to this and than thought "wow this is pretty good" and than i looked at the lyrics. Nothing can save those lyrics.

3OH!3 - Want
50

Not what i expected to hear after listening to streets of gold, but it was a pleasant surprise. Not my type of music but i can recommend it to people who do like this kind of music.

3OH!3 - Streets of Gold
40

not as bad as people say it is, but it's not really that good either. Listen if you like 2010's pop

Edit: hmm I was smokin some heavy shit

ミラクルミュージカル [Miracle Musical] - Hawaii: Part II
85

My favorite album of all time. (That was written before I deducted the score to 95) This album is genuinely so beautiful. I didn't even know making an album this good was possible. The first 4 songs flow really well together and all of these songs are extremely subliminal but just understandable enough for you to piece what is happening. Which is another thing i like, this album isn't just an album, it's a story, a story about a man that murders his lover and pleads insanity at ... read more

Bill Wurtz - money
95

this might be controversial but this is my favorite bill wurtz song. It's fun to listen to anytime. I don't really have anything else to say, just a great piece of art.

tv room - The Big Big Deal
88

i was at the premiere of this, and honestly, I'm glad i was. Some of these songs are dramatically different from what tv room usually makes. Like so beautiful and head and heart. Yet, it still works. It's honestly baffling how he does this. The songs are fun and sad and relatable all at one. No matter what kind of mood you are in, this album will cheer you up. Please. Listen to this. It's so worth it. Also, head and heart almost made me cry.

Edit: 97 to 90, still beautifully ... read more

Tally Hall - Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum

i have always listened to certain songs from this album, some being my favorites of all time. But yesterday i buckled down and decided to listen to the full album. honestly it was worse than i excepted. it's still an 85, but some of the songs felt so slow and bored me to oblivion. some of these songs are genuinely fantastic and is some of my favorite songs of all time. but some of these songs are so slow and boring. also brad has no idea what he's talking about, he's saying these guys are the ... read more

tv room - The Great State of Maine
79

imagine your on a long drive for a vacation, looking out the window. and this album is playing. Nearly perfect for those occasions, even if you are not there, its just nice and cute and goofy and fun music to listen to, if you like Bill Wurtz and Jack Stauber i think you'll like this too.

Fog - The Process of Letting Go
50

this is just noise, its good noise, but its just noise.

Say Anything - I, Vibrator
20

honestly the beat isn't even too bad, but what the hell are these lyrics

AJR - The Maybe Man
89

i understand the hate. i understand why people would listen to this and not like it.
But god damn i have never felt so connected to an album, now i might be saying this because I'm still in my teen years, but seriously, every experimental chord and every high note got me tweaking, brads "criticism" about this album bringing the audience down to his level is actually why i like, it, why i feel connected, when I'm feeling down i can listen to this album and know that my voice is heard. ... read more
