love them trying to push their sound in some songs amidst some of the same “usual” christian sounds
While others might find the extended runs too "repetitive", there comes a time in faith when worship becomes more than just musically adept, and the flow and spontaneity of worship becomes a gift rather than a bore. More Than Able is perfection.
Ordinary Ways is a contemplative personal look into a beating heart in the turmoils of life. It is reflective, yet ultimately prayerful. Thematically beautifully authentic and raw, production is pretty, lovely folk/chamber/indie influences with some smart drum patterns that pan throughout songs like Nazareth. Some of the best CCM right now.
a fantastic indie vibe that captures the bliss of teenage romance and lifestyle.
While there are some things that just don't work in this album, most of it is exactly what we needed, utopia is not as it seems.
Old Church Basement is a catharsis of raw emotion and beautiful worship flow. One of the best Christian worship albums as of late.
COIN's fresh take on bedroom and indie pop/rock is a joy to listen to. It truly is a non-stop ride through a psychedelic, funky and digitally glitched world of "Uncanny Valley".
Blissful, glitchy yet intricate production, with catchy hooks and a dark whirlwind undertone, this is by far one of the most underrated albums of 2021.
While this album has its flaws, it's intricate, conscious, and a statement that we should look out for what else she brings to the table. (loved this way more after listening to it again)
This record just gets worse and worse, losing focus on a concept that's already barely hanging by a thread.
A fantastic alt-rock, punk, nostalgic track that just hits all the right notes. It's not perfect, but Aries just can't miss with his recent singles. ALSO HIS NEW SONG IS COMING.
when peppa pig gets a better score than donda ;)
edit 1: WAIT J COLE ALBUM GOT THE SAME SCORE HAHAHAHAHAHA
Even if the songs might not reflect the concepts she incorporated, there are some stunning tracks on the slightly-exhaustive 16 tracks.
A duo that complemented each other perfectly, boasting their beautiful range and bubbling chemistry.
