People act like this album has ZERO good songs. Tell me She isn’t good. Tell me some of those instrumentals weren’t good. But I can understand why they do hate it. I mean I also hate Edgy Tyler and him making offensive songs just for the heck of it. I would say this album is a 5 or 6 or something like that
This album was amazing. From the production, to the lyrics to the everything, it was amazing. The storytelling on this album was insane, especially on that last track “2007”. JID’s rapping on this went HARD and it really fits well with the fast paced beats. The features on this were amazing as well. I didn’t even know who James Blake was until I heard all his features, and I glad I heard them. This album was AMAZING. James Blake’s vocals take you into a whole different world in this album. The effects on his voices make his singing sound WAY more beautiful. Like on “Loading”, his pitched up vocals sound so beautiful, his natural voice is also pretty good too. I’m glad Yeat is changing his sound for the first time and experimenting with new music. It does kinda sound like his old stuff but with more synths and different drum kits and stuff like that. I can’t lie some of these songs didn’t really catch my attention and just sounded like the same stuff but some of them did. I would prob rate this album 7.5/10
