I'm very surprised with how much I enjoyed this, it felt like I just sat through some sort of auditory experiment, and I loved it. It's extremely well done it sounds amazing I love that you can tell its all being recorded in an actual real space. The last song was my favorite I love that it stuck to that same melody the whole time, it was entrancing. The whole time I was listening to this I had a very clear image in my mind of a physical space slowly losing what makes it a physical ... read more
This album feels like the sky in the way that makes me think about clouds, they're so light and soft looking yet they weigh millions of pounds and still stay in the air because of their low water density compared to the air surrounding them, and then eventually, when they gain enough water, they become too heavy to stay floating and gravity pulls them to the ground as rain

Yay! New Colin Stetson! I like this song it's quite good my only problem is it feels like its mixed weird, the drums might be a little too heavily overpowering everyone else.. but it's not a big problem.. I'm excited for album!
It's not as massive and earth-shattering as his other ones that I've heard with the like two or three long songs but it's still amaaazing.. Astral Traveling is one of his best songs ever, the way the drums switch up occasionally is breathtaking I almost wish it went on a lot longer. And I like that little whistle that happens sometimes. The top 5 of pharoah sanders songs I've heard goes
