An incredibly well produced, culturally relevant album, tackling contemporary issues on top of fantastic, genre blending beats, with great songwriting, singing, and rapping.
21 Savage when he sees a bee on the table: 😦😨😥.
While I don’t think this album is bad, Drake could’ve done a whole lot better with what he had. Most of the lyrics on here feel very dated, as he can’t stop beating the dead horse that is the beef with Kendrick or dissing random people, and the rest are just devoid of substance or good writing, which is disappointing as I really like a lot of the production on ICEMAN. I feel as if Drake consolidated this project, and ... read more
Not the greatest lyrically nor sonically that I've heard from this genre, but this album was great and very enjoyable, keeping me hooked throughout the ride of enthralling beats and electrifying vocals.
Common’s lyricism and storytelling capabilities are on full display within ‘Like Water For Chocolate’, and that combined with the smooth, laidback production make for an amazing listen, despite the slightly bloated tracklist.

A beautifully smooth and soulful project, with dreamy, yet slightly bland production throughout, along with great rapping and singing from Isaiah and his feature list.
I already knew what I was gonna write for this review before listening to Flower Boy for what is probably the hundredth time, but man every time I listen to this album it just gets better. Song which I once thought to be bland (Droppin’ Seeds) or boring (Enjoy Right Now, Today), I now see the intricate beauty of. Flower Boy might feature some of Tyler’s best production in his discography, his rapping and singing are top notch, the themes he addresses and his introspectiveness are ... read more
A harmless mixtape from Denzel Curry’s new collective, with some good tracks here and there, but its’s overall somewhat mid. I don’t see myself coming back to this project often, but i can imagine it being good in a high energy/party setting.

The production and writing of this album are both fantastic, with multiple styles and genres and deeply heartfelt yet hard-hitting lyrics making for an amazing listen. My only gripes with this album are the interludes, which I think detract from the actual songs slightly, and its length, however almost every song is great so I don’t particularly mind that.

This album is HEAVILY carried by its production, which is albeit very impressive, and while I think that the songwriting could be improved, this is a great EP for a 12 yr old.
Although this album might not be the most sonically inventive or sonically intensive, its soaring melodies and annoyingly catchy hooks bring you into a world where summer never ends and everyone listens to J-pop.
Listening to 'Intro' straight into 'Chaos Space Marine' is going to go down as one of my favourite moments in my recent musical memory. I really enjoy this album, and when it is great it is truly great, although I feel as if some of the songs sound a tad too similar, and that I was not as enthralled by some of the slower songs (Bread Song, Snow Globes) as I was by the incredibly in-your-face instrumentally explosive tracks (Good Will Hunting, Chaos Space Marine).
Although this album lacks some of the storytelling genius that made Cole’s earlier albums incredible, The Off-Season is still a very good album with powerful rapping and production. However, I feel as if this album works better as a mixtape, due to its lack of an overarching concept.
A beautifully enthralling jazz project, with each instrument being played with stunning precision and grace that makes for an incredibly enjoyable and smooth listen.
While this album is not bad necessarily, and I enjoyed more of the tracks than I expected to, I do have many gripes with it. The production doesn’t mesh well with the vocals on some songs (particularly the hiphop-style songs), the members vocals sound way too processed, and the focus on English lyrics is jarring because the Korean sounds so much better. I appreciate the experimental first half, but the group has always shined in their own style, and trying to conform to modern hiphop just ... read more

Kanye dropping a listenable album 🥹. I must say I have not listened to either Dondas nor either Vultures, but I have heard songs from them here and there and they were usually straight ass. However, I must say that this album is mostly pretty good. The production is overall quite strong, with a good use of sampling and a large variety of styles, Kanye’s vocals are pretty good and the samples are great. There are a few misses ... read more

Quite a good album, with great production and good songwriting, but it’s definitely held back by its length. It took me ages to get through this album, and it didn’t help that a lot of the songs sounded quite similar, so it was difficult to tell when they started and ended.
