This was one of the first Metallica albums I ever listened to in full, and I remember it was so cool. My favorite thing about it is it takes the rawness of “Kill ‘Em All” and adds structure to it. They’re still refining, and their timing is still workin it’s way up there. But holy shit this has to be their most thrashiest albums and I love that.
